Although Goshenite was discovered in the United States Goshenite can be found throughout both North and South American, in Africa, Europe, and Asia.

Goshenite has been used as a less expensive alternative to Diamonds. The one thing holding it back from being a more popular gems is it's rarity.
Goshenite is not a common gemstone.

No such thing as a Flawless Emerals

Emeralds should have inclusions. Specks of carbon, fractures, cloudiness and silk inclusions are all common and should be seen in a natural minded from the earth Emerald. Silk inclusion can not be created in a lab and is an excellent sign the Emerald you are looking at is the real thing. An Emerald that is large, very green and has no flaws is highly suspicious.

This Emerald is nearly flawless, as Emeralds go. It has 3 tiny black specks of carbon and some silk inclusions.
It is over 3 carat and appraised at $8000.00.
