Before we begin... Don't forget to check out my great gift ideas for the holidays.
The number one rule of oily skin care is cleansing. Oily skin tends to be greasy and the excess oil can lead to the appearance of black heads and pimples. This is why it is very important to keep your skin clean.
Cleansing should be done twice a day. Washing your face more than that will strip away the oil that the skin needs in order to protect itself and it will only make your skin to produce even more oil - so don't over wash!

Don't Fall For It...
Cleansers For Oily Skin
They usually promise the world and with no results in sight. The main reason is that these big cosmetic companies are actually targeting for the masses. Their main goal is to produce products which will not irritate the skin or cause allergies, so they put very little amount of the active ingredient. Also, it is a lot cheaper that way.
So, basically you get a product that will most likely will not harm you, but will not help you either.
This is why on my list you will not find these big cosmetic companies. Only products that really help form great skin care companies who specializes in skin care.
Don't Forget To Moisturize

Try using shine control products. They control shine throughout the day and tighten the pores.
You should also use a water based foundation. If you're wearing normal to dry foundation, you will not see the difference because it contains oil and it will make your face oily and shiny. Use foundations for oily skin, which are light, oil-free and control shine. Skin care advice
