Best Ever Movies...Once they came out, things were never the same!

Movies have been a huge part of my life...and I have to say, I've loved critically acclaimed ones, as well as ones just because of the entertainment value. For me, the Best ever movies



Nothing else in the world matters when the best ever movies always start, and you are so bummed out when they are over.

I can't remember when exactly I saw the movie, but I remember the days when you had to stand in line for hours to get in, and that's what we did.

Remember when the scene opens with the Paramount logo, and then it goes to the live action, and the mountain is exactly the same shape as the paramount logo?

How many of you went and got a fedora, leather jacket, and a whip after you saw the movie?

1. The Tarantulas on Indy's back in the cave!
2. The Huge ball rolling down to seal same said cave.
3. When Indy shoots the dude with the huge scimitar instead of dueling him!
4. "Bad Dates"
5. Getting Dragged under the German Cargo Truck and then climbing back to fight!
6. Switching the Idol.

Best Ever Movies

Another of my best ever movies picks is Jaws! I remember seeing it when I was about 10. Living in Hawaii....I was so creeped out and afraid, I think I was permanently damaged!

I couldn't even go in the swimming pool with out thinking I was going to get attacked by a shark!

Now looking back, do you think that the fake looking shark actually make the movie even creepier?

Best Ever Movies: Say Anything 

Young aspiring smart pretty girl next door meets off beat, trench coat wearing loner, who says cryptic things, and is ever so charming...Best scene is when he is standing out side of the window with his boom box..remember those?

And plays Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" Everytime I hear that song I'm shot right back to the 80's! Wasn't that one of the best ever movies?

Best Ever Movies: A Shot In the Dark 

This may not be considered as one of the best ever movies in the Pink Panther Series, but I think it is the best! We are not yet introduced to the Pink Panther, but Inspector Clouseau. This was Peter Sellers at his best, and he was pretty young then.

You really get to see the development of the Clouseau Character, and his bumbling...I really loved the Scenes where he flirts with the women in the movie, and messes up all his plans with Hercule...If you haven't seen this one, it is a must.

Best Ever Movies: The Rock 

I'm guessing that Jerry Bruckheimer really loves to use Nicholas Cage. How many movies can you count that he is in? May be not one of the best ever movies for an oscar, but action packed! Anyway, I was hooked from the beginning in the test lab when the chemical room is going to get destroyed and things are saved in the nick of time...Don't you think the Bruckheimer films do a good job of building suspense and action? Sean Connery is not to shabby either...as a pretty old guy even then, he kicks it pretty good.

Top Gun, another one of Jerry Bruckheimer's Best Ever Movies 

A movie like this really promoted the who American Ideal! Flags flying, military prowess....it had it all....Was this the movie that invented the slow motion walking down the jet way looking cool? Anyway, I thought this was one of my best ever movies picks, but I came across an alternative version for a movie line...What do you think...it's below.

Maybe I'm just an eighties guy, and I was in high school then, but this had it all...Cool Guy with the Hottest chick, dorks, transfer students...beer parties, neglected misunderstood teen daughter...but in the end, peer groups don't really matter, and the hottest Porsche driving senior can end up with an unknown Sophomore right?
