The Truth About Government Grants...

What are government grants? Government grants are different than loans. Loans, even those backed by the federal government have to be paid back. Recipients of grant money never have to pay it back. Since I am the owner of Grants-Made-Easy.com, let me try to make this really easy.
Mrs. Jones might not have time to go to the grocery store to buy groceries, so she hires her teenage neighbor to go for her once a week. Mrs. Jones pays for the groceries and pays the teenager a wage. The grocery store sells groceries and makes a profit. Mrs. Jones gets her groceries without having to shop. The teenager gets paid. Everyone wins.

Grants are a little bit like that. The government gets what it wants to stay elected...
1) Improved roads, bridges and services.
2) The vendors make a profit for what they sell.
3) The person who receives the grant gets paid a for bringing all these parties together. Does that make sense?

Materials you'll need

You definitely want to get a piece of paper and a pen as I will be giving you some great resources and articles where you can get more information about grants.

You also might want to consider a good cup of coffee.

Although the information I will share with you is not terribly complicated, nevertheless, you will need to become familiar with some new terminology.

6 Ways You Can Benefit From Government Grants

6 Ways You Can Benefit From Government Grants...

1. Go to College
If you are just going into college, you most likely have access to some pretty
good cash. When I was in College, I received a Pell Grant which paid for nearly all of my tuition. I was baffled to learn that many of my friends had not even
applied for the grant, and they were the ones always whining about money.

2. Go Back to School (for Re-Training)
The amount of money available for retraining is staggering. I was reading a grant
just this morning that was giving away college grants of $24,000 each for graduate students who
were planning to teach US history or US Government classes.

3. Start a New Business
Starting a new business is not easy, but it sure makes it easier when the government
is handing you some start up dollars. There are many, many small business grants which might help you buy computers, office furniture and even the office space you will need.

4. Expand Your Business
If you are already in business, many grants are available to help you take your
business to the next level. In many cases, you have not only because you ask not.

5. Grab a New Career
There are thousands of government grants available that will fund the creation
of new jobs, such as new police officers, social workers and waste water treatment
workers. If you have been thinking about a career change, this may be the best
time ever.

6. Go Build Something
You have probably heard on the news how much cash Obama plans to inject directly
into our infrastructure, to rebuild our roads, bridges and other services. If
you have construction in your background, or you are so inclined, you may be able
to participate in some of this grant money without even getting the grant yourself.

FAQs About Government Grants

Many people have asked me the question... "Are government grants for real?
or are they a scam?"

It is indisputable that government issued grants are for real. There are literally
thousands of different grants given out to different organizations and people.

In the next section, I will answer the question about who "qualifies"
for government grants.

How Do You Know If You Qualify For a Government Grant?

Does Everyone Qualify?

Does every person qualify for a government grant? This is a difficult question
to answer.

The best way to answer this would be to say... that nearly every person can benefit
from federal grants.

Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that federal grants are like a giant ATM
machine, where any citizen can go to withdraw free money.

Grants have rules and guidelines. In some cases (but not all!) an organization
must compose (or write) a grant request and then get it approved.

But this isn't always the case. There are many grants available for business and
education. In addition, many organizations receive grants which create new jobs.

The only way to know if you qualify for a government grant is to look at what
grants are available and then apply! Most people who scream that "grants
are scams" have never taken the time to look and apply.

We will help you to navigate the process and find out if and what money you qualify
for. Why wait, check it out now!
