Try this grilled Turkey Pesto Sandwich.

OK, I never heard of such a thing until working in this one particular establishment. You get yourself two nice large thick sour dough bread slices. Butter the outside for grilling. Flip them over and spread some basil pesto mayo (made 50/50 both ingredients). on both pieces of bread. Put a slice of Mozzarella cheese on one slice, top it with deli sliced turkey meat, top with 2 slices of tomato and put the lid on.

Three things you should know about this Grilled Turkey Sandwich.

Tips and recipes

Nothing like creamy melted cheese......1. This is a very hearty sandwich so I would suggest sharing with someone. Half of this sandwich along with a small dinner salad or perhaps a cup of soup?
2. Be prepared to be stuffed at the end of your meal.
3. If you love grills you will love how the outside is crispy and the melted cheese dripping from the bread but yet the center of the turkey and the tomatoes still have a sense of cold. It is definitely a sandwich worth giving a try.

A little bit about me

Cooke2cook here and that's what's on the menu for today!I have made many of these and eaten my fair share. I love to cook and creating sandwiches like this make all the time and effort put into it well worth the effort. I am not a great or fancy cook but I can sure take a recipe and tweak it and give you something totally different and delicious. Here's to all the people who's recipe's I have tweaked and drove crazy with it but loved what they tasted in the end.

Some Great Kitchen Equipment You Might Like

As well as some of my favorite memories!

There are many great kitchen gadgets that you can use today for healthy cooking as well as making cooking faster and time saving for those that need it. You can also find many fun things for the children as well. I remember when I was a little girl, my father had to travel from California to Florida to pick up his mom and dad. While he was gone I decided that I would make him a welcome home gift. To this day I remember making him a cake in my "Easy Bake Oven". This is one of my favorite childhood memories and today there are so many more choices and such better quality of things to choose from. If I may show my age, I also remember my "etch-o-sketch" and making homemade pot holders with some sort of weaving thing! Great times.
