My internet journey to find the best paying affiliate programs

It has been a year now since I was online on December 2006. I didn't have much capital to spend just enough to cover my monthly bills. So I would be careful with what I have. With that disadvantage what I do is I would go for all the free resources I can get to learn about how to make money online.

I subscribe to any newsletter that offered some kind of free ebooks or report. By doing that I also learned how most top GURU do their online biz and what kind of teaching they are trying to teach newbies or internet marketer. I also joined giveaway events.

Now in my laptop storage there are almost 8G of online materials. I read almost all ebooks I've download. I watched webinar. I listened to audio lesson. Maybe my desire to acquire knowledge is strong that after one year doing that I still continue to read ebooks, watch videos tutorials, listen to audios and download more stuff.

Actually the reason I do all that is because I wonder with all the teaching by the top gurus why the impression I got from the Internet community is that they are having trouble making money. Even getting a single dime is a big hurdles. I got this observation because I spend my time in forums, other people's blogs and yahoo answer. Why? Are those people are difficult to teach? Are they just don't like to follow the teaching guideline? Why? Scam is the most frequent word I came across when I 'heard' people talking about online opportunity. Why are they using the word scam regularly? Everywhere I go I 'heard' people saying only 5% people made money online. And that number has been preached since long time ago.

Why in one part of the internet community said they are making a lot of money and the other part of the community said all the opportunity are scam and they haven't made a single dime. How could that be? Are they living in the same world or not? These question make me always eagerly trying to understand why this is happening.

My Observation On How People Make Money Online 

After my observation from reading newsletter(almost 50 emails each day), spending time in forum or read other people's blog I could say that majority of internet community who are trying to make money online believe that they need to build their own mailing list to succeed. They have to create a product such as ebooks or report. They have to make Joint Venture(JV) with other people who are also trying to make money online.

With that kind of making money philosophy they have to be in constant networking with other people, create new product year after year and JV with other people as many as they can. No wonder those people are sending emails on the average once every week.

So I say to myself is that how I'm going to run my online biz for the rest of my life. Is that the only way people can make money online? From my observation I believe most of them must have been working online more than 50 hours per week since they started their online biz. And some of them even could have been in these biz more than 5 years yet they still work that much time.

Although people do make money online I believe from the way they are doing it they should have been experiencing some kind of stress to stay competitive. But why they keep going on with it? Why?

Actually I don't want to know why because for me what I want to achieve online is making money online in a relaxing environment.
