The Official Star Wars Fan Film Awards is an annual contest put forth by Lucasfilm and AtomFilms to showcase and acknowledge the growing genre of fan films made by, for, and about fans of the Star Wars saga. The inaugural contest in 2002 was the first time Lucasfilm had officially sanctioned the genre.

    They are pretty fun. You didn't have my two faves- "Storm Troopers!" the parody on cops and Death Star Repairmen. Clerks troopers is great though.

    You couldn't be more right! Some of us love Star Wars too much to truly love the latest Trilogy. Fan films and other media (like Knights of the Old Republic) are staying true to the space western genre though. Thanks for putting these ones up for us.
