About Myself and Toys

Hello there! This is my first lens and since I just started a blog on toys, I decided that a good topic for my lens would be to introduce the Best Toys for 2009.

Basically as an adult, I really miss my childhood. Not that I was abused as a child of course, but then wont it be nice if we can stay young and be a kids always? (To also take Toys' R Us slogan: I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys' R Us kid!!) Well not a Toys' R Us kid but just a kid. Its good to be a kid, you dont have to worry about stuff and you are just a person exploring this brand new world! And my dad used to buy me lots of Lego and I was almost like in my own Lego Stars Wars Club. Better still being a baby, but I digress....

Anyway, I guess I was happiest as a kid when I had my toys to play with. You realise kids these days play less of toys and use more of the computer? Its bad for the eyes if you ask me! But what happened to those board games, stuff like skipping or even five stones or catching hide and seek games? Think these are slowly dying out.....Well toys seem to be the last stand, and toys really make me happy, because they remind me of my youth, my innocence and my childhood! Wish I was still a child!

Well, so here I am, writing this lens and hoping that my list of best toys really is a good list for you guys to consider...christmas is still some time away, but if what I saw was correct, there are already some lenses preparing for christmas!! So anyway here goes...

I even have a post on how USB Toys work!

Ben 10

I guess Im still new here and Im trying to include different products from different searches but it doenst seem to work! Well I will just include one entry for now and hopefully when I edit this later I can make my lens even better.

Well the reason I included this recommendation for Ben 10 Figures is because just recently at the annual Toy Fair in London, the winner of the "2009 Toy of the Year" is actually the Ben 10 action figure series by Bandai.

The Ben 10 Franchise has been growing in popularity ever since 2005. That was when Cartoon Network starting airing its cartoons. The cartoon has been running for four seasons, and kids have not stopped being fascinated with Ben 10 ever since. In addition, they also won the Boys' range of the year award. That is why if most kids have Ben 10 toys, Im sure you wouldnt want your kids to be out of sync with the crowd.

If you are interested in more of such action figures, why not visit the Action Toy Review blog. It contains many action toy figures and Im sure you will find something you like there!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Now why did I add Transformers stuff is because the new movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released soon in the first half of this year. Check it out at www.transformersmovie.com. And what that means would be that there would be promotional Transformers toys being released to tie in with this movie!

Transformers toys has really come a long way if you asked me. I can still remember playing them when I was a kid. Now after so many years, the toys are still going strong. Although I still think the older generation Transformers are cooler, I must applaud the makers for continually coming up with new designs for new Transformers. So dont belittle those transformers...

If you think Transformers are not the right toys for you, why not visit the Toy Geek Blog for all your toy needs, including new toy products, toy news and toy safety updates.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers

Now heres another cool toy that has taken the Toy Empire by storm. The Bakugan Toys came about from a Japanese anime television series. The anime is about the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who possess them. This Japanese anime was translated to English and shown on Cartoon Network in Feb 08. With the innovative use of metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded miniature figures, the strategic game of Bakugan was launched.

The main character, brawler Dan Kuso, together with his friends Runo, Julie, Marucho, Alice and Shun invented a game called Bakugan with cards that randomly fell out of the sky one day. The group Bakugan Battle Brawlers was thus formed and its members banded together to fight for the fate of Vestroia (the Bakugan's home dimension) against Masquerade, Hal-G, and the Bakugan Naga.

Actually Bakugan Toys reminds me of kaiju big battel. Why? Because both are toys of strange beasts! Roar!

This really is a very very tough one. I will leave you guys to decide this. Let the debate began!!!

Batman or Spiderman?

I want my Mary Jane!

Top-Kids-Toys says:

I'm a Spidey gal myself.

Give me the Dark Knight!

OhMe says:

Batman, of course.

Chadrew says:

Batman is definitely more cool. He achieved everything by himself, while Spiderman is a superhero only because the radioactive spider bit him :)
