Best Halloween Costumes

Of course I may add this page every year, since each year some new costumes are released. There are always some real gems that you need to check, some are even cheap.

So I made a selection, here is what you may like too, for a pure Halloween spooky, scary, freaky style :

THE Vampire Costume
His name is Edwardian on some websites and Vladimir on some others. Anyway this is my favorite vampire costume. So elegant ! A high quality costume for a super look, don't forget some white make up for the final touch (Adult standard and Plus Sizes). The Vampiress costume is perfect. Both of these costumes are "Elite Collection", and will make a great couple costume.

Wicked Fairy

Simple and sexy, this costume is a mini black and purple dress, with nice wings (of course).

Fallen Angel.

Finding your Halloween Costume on the internet is not difficult. A Google search will lead you to hundreds of online costumes stores.

I have my personal favorite stores :

• Buy Costumes (the largest and most popular one),


• Costume Craze (another BIG one, with few things you don't find elsewhere),


• Moon Costumes, so unique. Exclusive costumes that they make themselves. A Cosplay section with manga and video games costumes. Just great.

There is another one that I should add to my list, and that you may want to put at the top of yours, this is Costume Discounters.

As the name suggests, their prices are discounted and almost every time I check for a costume that is available on the other costume stores, Costume Discounters have it cheaper.

Of course the difference is generally small, a few dollars (sometimes $10). But when you add many costumes to your shopping cart for your family Halloween party for example, you really see the difference. They even have a "Lowest Price Guarantee".

But where you will find the biggest difference on prices is for the Ultimate or Supreme Edition version of some costumes.

For example, there are costumes that are really expensive (few hundreds), they are exact replicas of what you can see in movies (mainly Star Wars and super heroes movies such as Batman). If these costumes are something you would like to grab then stop at Costume Discounters and you may find a difference of about $100, sometimes more !

Here's an example, this is a Chewbacca Collector's Edition costume (sometimes named Supreme Edition too).

Click on it and you'll reach Buy Costumes where the price is $449.99. Now check it at Costume Discounters (it's currently $359.97).

Well end of the story, you should visit multiple sites before making a purchase, and sometimes Buy Costumes is cheaper than Costume Discounters, and another could be too...

One last tip, almost every costume store has a "Sale" or "Clearance" section. There are many great, gorgeous, amazing, supermegacool costumes that are super cheap. You will find some costumes at 60% off their retail price, or even less.

This website has been thought for every budget, either you only want to spend $10 (or less !) to get the look or $3000 to dominate the world you will find everything. Child to adult costumes (plus sizes too) are featured there, some I have never seen before. Of course there are popular costumes from Hollywood movies but this is not the most interesting.

For example the Cosplay section, where you get costumes from Video games, animes and mangas. I never thought of Final Fantasy, Naruto or Street Fighters or Zelda costumes (for experts only !).

Most of their Cosplay costumes are EXCLUSIVES, Moon Costumes make them. You won't find their Final Fantasy costumes (there is one below), mangas/anime costumes, or Kill Bill costumes and even some Star Wars costumes (like Kyle Katarn from the Jedi Knight video games) anywhere. Check the Cosplay section and you will see there is a "CUSTOM" tag for their exclusive costumes.

And the walking creatures ! Be the judge. If you like costumes parties, you may soon be addicted to Moon Costumes. I spend hours just to look at all the items !

No doubt this year again, popular costumes will be taken from movies and fairy tales. You will be immediately recognized by others, Disney princess costumes for girls or super heroes costumes for boys, Cinderella and Batman will make a nice couple.
