Hollywood Dolls - Best Screen Play 2008
Your choice. The Hollywood Dolls went to the movies this year. They were in character and in pictures. Hollywood dolls made headlines, and inspired whole lines of dolls based on the Hollywood Stars. There were also a few ace artists who received international recognition for their work. That is a feat and an award in itself.
However, awards are usually voted upon by a guild. Here, you are the guild. You are the audience, you are the collector, you are the artist, and the manufacturer of the artist's canvas of choice.

Hollywood Dolls of 2008
From November 2007 to December 2008, hundreds of one of a kind artists' celebrity dolls were listed on eBay and around the internet, but less than two hundred made it to the Hollywood Doll Walk Of Fame. Below are the 2008 nominees for the Hollywood Dolls Best In Show. Each photo includes the name of the artist with their celebrity tribute doll.
Best In Show: Your Suggestions
To the best of my knowledge, this is the first Hollywood Dolls Best In Show contest of its kind on the internet. Due to the success of this contest, improvements are being made to make next year's event even better.
You can help make it better. Below are a few ideas for additional voting categories that will be included in next year's Best In Show. As a voter, fan, collector, or artist - your opinions and suggestions are welcome here. Of the ideas presented, vote your favorite to the top. The top five suggestions will be given the utmost consideration for inclusion in the 2009 Hollywood Dolls Best In Show.
Below are a few ideas to begin. In the next day or two, the specifics for each category will be outlined in detail.

Many thanks to collectors of celebrity art, dolls, and memorabilia. Collectors are the fans, the artists, the peers, and the stars themselves, without whom this unique tribute to Hollywood would not exist.
