No Limits

The Heat is On . . .

Simon Baptiste's latest SG-5 mission just went south in a major way. With his career on ice for awhile, it seems like a good time to take care of some business back home in Louisiana. Simon knows it ain't going to be pretty. He's got some old enemies in Bayou Allain who won't exactly roll out the red carpet. But Simon's first night back is more than he bargained for. Not only has the homestead gone to hell in a hand basket, but there's a half-naked woman hiding inside it-a woman whose face Simon knows all too well. It's Michelina Ferrer, the sultry spokesmodel for her family's Ferrer fragrance empire-and Simon's been staring at her picture on a billboard outside his Manhattan apartment for weeks...
And It's Only Getting Hotter . . .

Micky Ferrer came down to Bayou Allain looking for her old college friend, only to discover that Lisa Landry has been missing for days. As soon as Micky starts asking questions around town, someone runs her car off the road. She's hiding out in the old Baptiste place when Simon shows up-and he's the hottest thing she's laid eyes on since she got to town. Simon agrees that something strange is going on and that Lisa's disappearance may be tied to it. As he and Micky search for answers, the sweltering heat makes it hard to keep their heads straight or their hands off each other... even as they unravel the small-town secrets that some people are willing to kill for...

Lucky Charm

ABOUT THE BOOK
Long ago, as revenge on a Corwin who stole her son's fiancee, a witch proclaimed an eternal curse that every Corwin male who married for love would be destined to lose his love and his fortune ...

Derek thought he could outsmart the long-standing Corwin curse by breaking up with Gabrielle, his first love- and marrying someone else. Now, divorced and broke, all he has left is his teenage daughter and a healthy respect for ancient sorcery. But then Gabrielle returns, determined to defeat the curse and rekindle their passion. But will her stubborn streak and her unwavering love be the lucky charm Derek so desperately needs?

"In this launch of a new trilogy, Phillips does what she does best: deliver stories that are light but not silly, with believable characters and plots that flow into satisfying stories. Fans will be stalking stores to get all three of these."
-Romantic Times Magazine, 4 1/2 stars

"This was a fun and light story to read and I enjoyed the way in which Ms Phillips was able to bring the cast of characters in this small town together. She has also creates the mayhem involved and makes for a very plausible scenario. In the next books we will see how the curse will affect others in the family."
-Contemporary Romance Writers

"Lucky Charm kicks off Carly Phillips' new series with pizzazz. The protagonists are attractive, the romance is h-o-t, and the fantastic supporting characters make the pages seem to turn by themselves. There is love and laughter aplenty in this terrific story. Reading Lucky Charm is a perfect way to spend a few pleasurable, humorous, hours with new friends."

Why is Romantic Fiction so Popular

Most people are programed to like a happy ending. Did you ever watch a movie or read a book and the ending was dumb? That is probably because it didn't explain or hit the topic closures you were thinking about. Like what happened to "so and so" or "did they get married". When something ends and you still have questions - well bad ending alert.

In romantic fiction, most authors, get into detail and answer all those thought us questions and then some. As a plus you know it's going to be a happy ending. When you close the book with a smile and wishing there was more, that's good!

Of course concidering you can read just about any genre you want: Historical, Intrigue, Medical, Nascar, Super romance, Paranormal, Suspence....
There are way to many to list. To see a list of categories or to take a look at some romance ebooks check out eHarlequin.com
