#1 : Canon PowerShot SD1000
7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom
Canon looked to the very first Elph for inspiration when designing the PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph, and came up with a quintessential iteration of the icon: slim, clean-lined and fully flat. Inside, the SD1000 Digital Elph looks only to the future: 7.1 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom and advanced DIGIC III ensure top-quality images, while focus is fast and sharp and red-eye is automatically corrected. The large and more colorful LCD screen now has a tough, anti-reflective coating that makes it as durable as it is beautiful.

Darn good little camera : David A. Wilson
The camera is very small and light weight but it still takes very high quality photos under almost any condition. The battery is rechargeable and takes a surprising number of photos between charges. The menus and features are easy to use. I also like the black trim.
My other camera is a Nikon D50 with four lenses but I carry the Elph everywhere I go.
everything you can ask for : K. Alleyne
stylish and user friendly.....this camera is excellent. the stills are almost perfect..nothing a lil editing cant fix as long as you know what you are doing. if you love photography as much as me...(and if you buy this camera you probably do) get a 4gig sd memory card to with it...and spare batteries too. THIS CAMERA IS THE BEST EVER. THANK YOU CANON
A Marvel of a Small Camera : Michael J. Ludvik
Simply put this is a marvelous digital camera. I recommend it as highly as I can. It can funtion as a basic point and shoot capturing crisp images in dead-on color (the face detection software really works!) or it can function to take advantage of the dozens and dozens of features that compare to a professional camera.
The only problem I encountered was connecting the camera via the included cable to my computer. I still haven't resolved the software's failure to detect the camera. A minor issue I think that Canon customer service will cure.
Do not hesitate to purchase this. I advise buying the leather case as well--the fit is perfect and the case provides protection and cushion of you get clumsy or rough with it.
Oh, and the camera refreshes almost instantaneously so you can snap off as many shots as you like without waiting. The flash works beautifully too.
What more can I say?

Great pictures at a great price : Rabid Shutterbug
While some may justifiably complain of inconsistency in quality in identical Canon products, rarely does one hear that the good, or corrected by Canon, products are less than stellar, and this camera proves it. While not elegant in its materials, it seems rugged enough, the IS works, the pictures are excellent, and it's a breeze to use. The optional underwater housing makes it even better when compared to others in the price range. I have a Canon dSLR, and several Canon film cameras over the years, and my experience is that the company flat makes stuff with which you can have years of reliable fun.
Too good for words : L. K. Crews
Wow. This is the best camera I have ever purchased. The image stabilization makes a HUGE difference. I have a small child and no matter how much she is moving when I take the picture, it is very clear. The LCD is large and clear. Also, the video feature takes just as good video as our expensive Sony video camera! I can't say enough good things about this camera.
Excellent little camera : Geoff Oldham
This past June I picked this camera up deciding it was time to upgrade from my Powershot A520. The Optical Image Stabilization, DIGIC III, & Face detection features were big selling points for me. The camera takes really great photos, the Image Stabilization (IS) is worth the upgrade by itself. When you have the IS enabled the lens shifts to compensate for your hand shake, so your pictures come up much sharper and with little or no blur. The camera is easier enough for beginners to use but robust enough for advanced users to take advantage of certain features. With 7MP you can take and print out huge pictures and still retain all the details. The camera also takes really good video as well. There are many size options and even a 60fps option (320x240 @ 1min) Really helpful for catching fast moving things. Overall a fantastic camera and the IS is such a big help if you don't own a tripod or anything! I've included some sample photos as well.

Great little camera and the pictures come out clear : Venus Gines
I was very pleased with the Sony Cybershot DSCW55 7.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom in pink. Good investment!
Perfect Digital Camera : L. M. Foster
This is my second Sony cybershot digital camera, although I have purchased Kodak Easy Shares for family members. I loved the first one (only 3.2 MGP). This camera is perfect for the not-so-tech-wise consumer. It takes great pictures and has a high quality Zeiss lens. Most of all it is easy to use, especialy for the beginner and intermediate user. It stores easlily in a pocket and I love the color choices Sony gives you! The review pictures button is a little small, but you get used to it quickly.

Great Camera! : G. Gamble
First off I would like to comment on the seller "Warehouse Deals" and the refurb product that I received. The product was an open box return and came to me without any scratches, just a resealed box, and had all accessories. The product is flawless and everything works great! I wanted a camera for under $100 for a vacation that I'm about to take. I thought I would take a chance on this one since it was $103 with shipping. Not to mention all of the bells you could ask for.
At first I was worried about the pictures since I would review them on the lcd screen. The pictures look less than stellar on the lcd but when transferred to computer look amazing! Even in the low light situations there was very little noise, just depends on the setting you pick. I don't think reading the manual would help to much as actually getting out there and trying different conditions. The camera for the most part does what I want it to but it's at the mercy of the operator. It has many different preset options for you choose from including sunset and beach modes; I mention these since they seem uncommon.
I think anyone could be successful at taking pictures with this camera in most conditions. Just remember that if it doesn't come out the way you want then you may have to change the settings. As for the size I don't think it is to big but is will bulge the pant pocket.
The bottom line is - it has all the features of the more expensive cameras with 6X zoom, stabilizer, and video mode with sound. How could you go wrong and in my case for a $103 bucks!!!
very good all around camera with stabilization and video image recording : A. AGATEP
Overall this camera is very good, it is vey stable both video and image capture, with great zoom, optical and digital combo, that packs a punch for the price. The ISO support helps a lot also and the built-in preconfigured shot modes are handy.
This is my first digital camera purchase and am very satisfied with the quality and performance for the price.
Better than most Point 'n Shoot digicameras! : Brad Larsen
Great build quality. FAST! - Very minimal shutter lag compared to other point and shoot cameras that I have owned! I can easily live with this performance. Fast enough to catch action shots if prefocused. Optical zoom is very useful. A little bigger than compact, but features outweigh the size penalty. Still fits in pocket or purse easily. Great value at well under $200. Very happy after several weeks of many pics.

Nikon quality with WiFi : Joey D SC
Great size and awesome pic quality for the price. The WiFi was a snap to set up and is great. You would be surprised how many places now have free WiFi. I was at a restaurant taking pictures and found they had it. Sent the pics to my girlfriend on the spot. Very nifty feature that alone is worth the price.
Nice large 3" screen is very bright and clear. Controls are easy to use and the camera is so thin and light fits easy in your pocket.
You wont be sorry if you pick one up and Amazon has the best price. Best Buy and CC were sold out.
Amazed! : L. Miller
This camera is the best bang for you buck, and for the so-called "tech" who had problems setting this camera up - its just nonsense. This camera couldn't be easier to setup and operate. Everyone should own this camera.
Great Pocket camera : M. B. Fardon-jones-finney
