She Wears Many Hats...but who is she?
I wear many hats, actually. I'm a Wife, Mother, Step-Mom, and Grandma and those are the hats I wear lovingly.
In the work force I wear the hat of a Manager for an Antique Mall and proudly don the hat of a Business Woman with my own little business known as The Paper Trail.
Let's find out what other hats I wear in the following paragraphs.

The Family Hat of BevsPaper
The hat that I am most proud of is my Family hat. I've been blessed with a loving husband, two beautiful grown-up daughters, two grown sons who became mine through marriage, and three adorable little grand-daughters. The grandchildren inspired me to write my Grandma Instructions.I love wearing the Family Hat the most. Family is the most important thing in our lives and I cherish every moment I have with them. My Grandmother and Mother inspired an article about Family Bibles.
My nature seems to be somewhat motherly instinctively and I have a tendency to mother friends, co-workers, and even critters.

So many hats and only one head!
Life Experience Hat or Halo
Another way that I'm trying to earn that halo is by sharing my life experiences with people. Life has made me drink some pretty sour lemonade at different times in my journey here on earth. Sometimes when you share your personal story with others it brings healing not only to yourself but others too. One of those experiences is shared in the article He Chose Suicide. A leg of my journey I wish I hadn't had to walk on but am stronger for having survived it.
Another personal story that I have shared is The Scarlet Widow which shares one other life experience.

Reminiscing Hat

Sometimes I wear a hat to Reminisce in about cool things that I remember when I was growing up.
It might be about awesome cars of the 1950s or celebrities that I enjoyed watching or listening to.
There is no rhyme or reason where this hat takes me, it walks me down memory lane to things that made me smile, laugh, or just feel good.
By the way this funky little hippie looking hat can actually be purchased at Party Hats.
The Memory Hat of BevsPaper

Rarely does a Mom get to wear only one hat at a time.
Nine to Five Hat
My job also entails working with and mentoring the dealers who rent space at the mall.
I also run my own website selling Antique and Vintage paper items so I wear this work hat most of the day either in the brick and mortar building or at home at my computer.
I'll keep this hat on from time to time to write about aspects of the Antique Industry, the mall itself, or items that I sell on my website.

What About Your Hats?
There is no doubt about it all women wear hats whether they are the invisible kind or the honest to goodness real hats to adorn our heads.
Which category do you find yourself in?

I'm a combo Gal! I wear both the invisible and the real.
davenjilli says:
I love your hats!
BuckHawk says:
I wish I could say my real hat is adornment, but it's just for function. The function of keeping my head warm when I am outside with all the animals. And it adds nothing, but silliness to my look.
says:
The really cold country I live now (Norway) had me start wearing a woolen hat that used to belong to my mother. There are invisible hats I share with her too - teaching hat, the chocolate hat, the musicians hat, to name a few...
CrypticFragments says:
usually a funky hat (hahaHA!), as you may have witnessed recently in lens of said name...
well,on amore serious note, I play the role of cat caretaker and aide to housemates with housework...
in summer season I wear the "how may I help you?" hat for visitors to various national parks...
and recently I began wearing the hat of teacher (of English), when I started volunteering with Tibetan refugees in north India
vallain says:
I have a golf-hat, wife-hat, and writer/photographer hat. I used to wear a librarian's hat, but now I just put that on for fun, not for work.
mukunda22 says:
As long as I write my Morning Pages every day, I can keep track of what I am doing!!
blue22d says:
I have a few, some crocheted so bought. I love hats and I love this lens.
WindyWinters says:
I only wear a hat for outdoor activites; a ballcap in summer & a ski toque in winter; otherwise it's a hood.
stargazer00 says:
I just disposed of a huge hat collection that I inherited. I donated it to a local community theater group. I only have one hat that I wear in our convertible to keep my hair under control, a USS Nimitz baseball cap that I acquired on the Nimitz.
CreativeArtist says:
Do hoods count. Uusually I wear a hood. I love my hoodie. It's got one of my Zazzle designs on it. If it's snowing, I might wear a hat when shoveling. Otherwise, it's usually just the invisible kind.
Just the invisible ones are on my head...that's all my poor head can handle.
ajgodinho says:
Me as well, I've never been much of a real hat wearer, but do wear many invisible hats.
Wednesday_Elf says:
Is there a 'retirement' hat? :-). I'm enjoying my retirement years where I now have TIME to don many and varied 'invisible' hats.
kimmanleyort says:
Never been much of a real hat wearer. I like to try on new invisible hats all the time.
KarateKatGraphics says:
I don't look great in hats. Just sunglasses! ;)
sandyspider says:
I only wear a hat in the winter. Sometimes I wear so many invisible hats at once, I really need more heads.
clouda9 says:
Even though my hats are invisible they are colorful and well respected.
History Detective Hat
I'm fascinated with the history of our world, our cultures, and even the history of objects and their makers.
I love to research and write about the Native American culture, it's belief systems, and the legends of these remarkable people. I'm learning even more about my own spirituality as I look into the belief systems of the Native American Indian tribes.

Party Hat of BevsPaper
I often wear the Party Hat while I'm wearing my Nine to Five hat because I have so many customers who are looking for something a little different to give as a gift. They want to honor the birth of a loved one, friend, or co-worker with something unique and memorable.
So with my party hat on, I've written a few lenses for ideas for the Milestone Birthdays of our lives. Recently I began a series for ideas for the specific month of birth.
BevsPaper wears a blogging hat too

BevsPaper Wears A Reading Hat
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bolt Action with the sassy female sleuth Leslie Bolt who looks for a serial killer.
One of my all time favorite books to read during the Christmas season is The Polar Express. I love to read it to children during the holidays but I've also been known to just read it for my own pleasure. I still hear the bell of Christmas.
A really fun book review from a mystery series that has cats and dogs as the main characters is Puss 'N Cahoots. The personalities of these pets are just too much fun to read!
