Biblical increase is about looking at spiritual, financial,emotional and physical increase in a balanced way...many people think that money answers everything when in fact the bible says in the book of Ecclesiastes that Money only answers all things.Money can buy a house...but not a home, It can pay for the best of health...but it cannot buy health, it can clothe the body ...but it can't clothe the soul. 3 John 2 declares...beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospers...which helps us to see that material and physical increase is based upon our mind prospering within Gods word.The more that we read, obey and meditate on Gods word concerning prosperity...the more we will prosper, the more that we read and meditate on Gods word concerning health...the better chance we will walk in divine health and healing. So then Biblical principles of increase will show you how to biblically increase in every one of these areas...

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly...and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1Thessalonians 5:23).

The Apostle Paul in writing to the church at Thessalonica shows us that man is a tri-part being. He is a spirit that has a soul and that lives in a body. Many people put more emphasis on the body rather than spirit and soul, and this is reflected in the reason why billions are spent on cosmetic surgery and weight loss products.People also fail to realize that they are more than just body because they fail to seek out spiritual help until they face trouble that they cannot do anything about.The bible gives scripture for each characteristic of man...2 Corinthians 5:17 addresses the spirit of man when it says ...therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature (creation) old things are past away and behold all things are become new. When it says that all things are become new...it is talking about a persons spirit has changed from death (alive to worldly desires) to life (alive to the things of God). So then a persons spirit is the part of a person that contacts God. The soul of a person is their mind, will and emotions...it is the part that reasons, thinks and feels.When a person becomes born again...the soul of man does not supernaturally change, but it must be renewed by the word of God. Romans 12:2 says and be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. The more we read and apply the word of God to our life...the more we will put on the mind of Christ and the popular saying "what would Jesus do" comes to life. Because where the mind is ...the body of a person follows...for example, if a person thinks he must go to the store, then his or her body follows and goes to the store.As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.

An Unsatisfied Women (John 4)

Spiritual increase brings satisfaction

When I talk about spiritual increase...I am talking about the emptiness that a person may feel in spite of success in other areas...the disappointment that follows when a person achieves something they thought would bring satisfaction, but it does not. God has reserved a certain part of a person for Himself...and that is the spirit of a person. John 4:24 says that God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Jesus needed to go through Samaria for one woman and because he is not a respecter of persons...his love for us will cause him to go through great lengths to reach us also. The woman comes to Jacobs well to draw water and Jesus is there waiting for her to arrive just as he meets us at the right place at the right time to get our attention because he knows that we are not satisfied with all of our endeavors without him.He asked her for something that she could give him because he never will ask for anything that he has not already given. Many times we... like this unsatisfied woman will see ourselves in a negative light because of who we are and who we have been labeled as. She says how is it that you being a Jew...ask drink of me a Samaritan woman.This woman had two strikes against her being a Samaritan and a woman and she was about to have strike three because she felt unqualified to even give Jesus a drink of water. Unsatisfied people find it hard to give even the simplest things. After conversing with the woman Jesus revealed himself to her. Spiritual increase begins with a revelation of Jesus and his word. Jesus finally asks the woman to go get her husband...and her reply reveals just how much she was not satisfied. Go get your husband! for this woman... she thought that a man was the answer to her emptiness, but what do we substitute for emptiness? money? a relationship? position and power? If Jesus does not fill the void in our spirit...then we will remain unsatisfied. She answers Jesus by saying...I don't have a husband because unsatisfied people may find it hard to see the value in what they already have.You've had 5 husbands declares Jesus because unsatisfied people may refuse to see themselves as the problem, and may blame others instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. Jesus reveals her soul as well as her present situation by saying...the man that you now have is not yours... revealing how commitment decreases when a person has come to the conclusion that what they had hoped would bring satisfaction doesn't. How many people refuse to commit to anything or anyone because of past hurts and disappointments? Jesus now gives this woman what she had been trying to find in men...satisfaction! and this satisfaction began from the inside (spirit) and manifested outward which was totally opposite from the way the Samaritan women went about trying to find satisfaction...from the outside in. The woman was so excited that she ran and told her city about her experience...because true satisfaction is not selfish, but is expressed to others.

A Prosperous Mind

Peace Of Mind

Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul (mind, will, emotions) prospers (3 John 2).

A prosperous mind is a peaceful mind...and it is this peace that passes all natural understanding that guards and protects a heart and mind. An unguarded heart and mind is a troubled mind followed by troubled emotions. Isaiah 26:3 declares Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusteth in thee.

Since we are going to have problems while living in this world...we are encouraged to keep our mind on the Lord because first of all he overcame everything that we are facing and will ever face.Jesus said in the world you shall have tribulation (trouble) but be of good cheer...for I have overcome the world...and because he overcame every opposition...we can also. Trust takes time to build, but can be lost in a moment,so looking over your life, you will no doubt find that the Lord has never failed you...and never will. An example of a peaceful mind can also be seen while Jesus and his disciples were in a ship going to the other side.They all of a sudden faced a storm...and while the disciples were in a panic, Jesus was asleep in the hinder part of the ship.

A peaceful mind means a person is at rest mentally and emotionally during storms of life and are not apt to react emotionally because one is truly relying on the Lord to fix the problem. Jesus was asked...Master don't you care that we perish? Jesus responded...where is your faith? in other words you forgot what I told you, I told you lets go to the other side and nothing can stop us from getting there. Jesus then speaks to the storm because only a peaceful mind can speak peace in a storm. Many times people speak fear because they are afraid, or doubt because they do not believe.

The bible also says as a man thinks in his heart so he is which means a persons thoughts dictate which way their life will go. If a person thinks he is a failure...then he will do things whether conscience or( sub-conscience) that contribute to failure and a person who believes they are a success will likewise do what productively contributes to their success. Take for instance two brothers who both may come from a terrible home life... and one is a success, while the other ends up in prison. Both could have failed and it be justified because of their home life. But the successful one refused to think on the harsh realities, but rather he thought of what could be. Many people remain trapped in their past and can never move forward in life because of the way they think.

But Philippians 4:4 gives instruction on what to think on...finally brethren whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if their be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.
