Black Sea Tourism

Black sea tourism took a huge step forward when Bulgaria saw a huge opportunity to build a large international tourist resort.

Until this decision was made Bulgaria only had its own people travelling to the Black sea during the summer and a few travellers from Germany and other Balkan countries.

The decision was to build two tourist hot spots, one near the city of Varna called Golden Sands and another near the city of Bourgas called Sunny Beach. These two tourist hot spots were a big hit as they catered to everything a tourist would need as well as being close to old cities steeped in history for those who are interested in culture.
