Black hair is unique and thus you need to look into special black hair care for maintaining it. All natural black hair care products are not what you would always use for other colored hair and thus you should not try it on anything but black colored hair.
Do not wash your hair excessively
Firstly black hair does not need excessive washing, like straight or wavy hair does. This is according to the proper black hair care tips because it is notable characteristic of black hair is that they do not get too oily and for this you can thank their tightly curled structure that help in maintaining enough levels of sebum, which makes black hair naturally dry. Due to these factors, it does not require much washing which would only make the black hair even drier than they already are.
No use of chemical products
Secondly , proper black hair care requires that you need to only use all natural black hair care products that have specially been formulated for use with black hair, because black hair is always drier than other kinds of hair, black hair care means that it requires being moistened more than other colored hair and since there are many hair care products that actually strip the hair off their moisture, using specially formulated black hair care products is the only choice open for you when caring for black hair.
Chemicals to be avoided
Isopropyl alcohol, Propylene glycol, Polyethylene glycol, sodium laurel sulphate and sodium Laureth Sulphate, DEA(diethanolamine), MEA (momoethanolamine) and Parabens.
Black hair care also means avoiding brushing your hair and instead it is suggested that you comb black hair with combs with wide teeth .You can either rub your fingers through your black hair to hinder damaging them from using a brush. Brush has been considered as is the surest way of destroying black hair as they may result shearing your hair out of your scalp.
