Thanks for the mention on your website! Stock is updated on eBay as fresh shipments arrive - we don't like to stock a lot at once, as we want to ensure that the tea we offer is as fresh as possible and not sitting around for too long. We are also looking into opening a new website in the coming weeks, with an online shop.

If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I had not yet heard of blended Matcha! Sounds intriguing and quite healthy ... since I've just been ordered on meds for blood pressure and high cholesterol and told to reduce my stress, perhaps this is what I need too?

This is so interesting! I've never heard of matcha, but that's probably because I am a coffee addict and rarely sway from my daily routine. Recently, I've started making some healthier changes to our diets and matcha may be a good addition. Very cool lens, I love the green and black color blocks!

Looks great and I will try it. My daughter has been trying to get me to drink green tea for years but it never appealed. You have changed my mind. Top marks

Thanks for sharing the recipes. I love matcha and I've never thought of mixing it with guava juice and banana of all things! Matcha tastes really good coated in chocolate too. (:

matcha + vanilla ice cream = YUM
  • Blended Matcha girl Sep 21, 2009 @ 1:59 pm | delete
Wow...I love it...I paid 4 dollars for a large green tea latte...it had soy milk and 2 tsp of sweetened matcha. I felt really good after drinking. I then went to my local health food store and paid 19.99 for 10 matcha sealed packets. I blended almond milk, fresh pinapple, fresh ginger, and 3 packets of matcha and a bit of protein powder from hemp (just a tad) and it was delicious. Its expensive but it is great. Today I did the same thing, but a added a large spoonful of coconut bliss vanilla island ice cream with the 3 packets of matcha. Still the protein powder dab as well. Okay, it is amazing...I feel on top of the world...what a discovery. I am addicted. I hope you all enjoy your new found matcha experience!! I will continue to experiment would love to trade receipes Ro organiqueherbs@gmail.com (let me know how it goes)

I drink 3-4 double mugs of green tea a day. Have for years. This sound worth trying for sure. I'll check my local health food stores. And, of course, there's always online. Very interesting lens!

I love matcha tea. I got some this past winter in Los Angeles at a Tea Shop called Dr. Tea's. I like it hot with agave nectar and soy milk. Now I'll have to try it cold. Great lens, Your quotes are perfect. I need to get one of those bamboo whisks.

I've never had matcha..well actually I might have. I think Starbucks had a green tea drink that has matcha in it, judging by the looks of your lens. And what you said about chlorophyll being a good antioxidant, I have another benefit that many don't know about: it cures acid reflux. I took every prescription known to man to try and squelch it, but the only thing that worked was a cholorophyll supplement. I took it every day for about a year and it's been gone ever since. Excellent job, I might have to try that drink! Squid Angel blessed.

Great lens. I've heard that matcha has great health benefits, but never tried it. I think I will now.

I also drink loose leaf green tea (once you go loose you never go back - LOL). As for Splenda, like anything else, in moderation it is fine. It's when you get into a diet full of artificial sweeteners (of any kind) that it becomes a problem. Obviously if someone has a concern about using Splenda they can use regular sugar, it is only two teaspoons, and I think it's a common sense substitution on the individual's part.
  • CleanerLife Nov 5, 2008 @ 7:14 pm | delete
I drink green tea, I actually buy it loose and try to keep away from bagged tea, but I've never heard of matcha. Sounds like something I should try, but I think I would have to agree with clouda9 about using something other than spenda for a sweetener. I know some people have no problem with it, but I won't use it.
  • clouda9 Nov 4, 2008 @ 1:04 am | delete
I loved learning about Matcha...gotta get me some! I do have a thought, especially because this is so healthy. I believe that adding Splenda or anything artificial discounts the benefits. Have you heard of or tried Chef Keem's Agasweet? Squidoo it and you will find his lens about it. Another option is powdered Stevia, a natural sweetener that you can find at your local grocery or health food store (a little goes a long way). Yet another option...I know I'm touched :) is local honey...adds sweetness and allergy protection! Super step-by-step pictorial lens that is jam-packed with Matcha info...thanks!

Wow. Great lens. I love green tea, but never tried matcha. I really should, I guess :)
  • papawu Nov 2, 2008 @ 6:57 pm | delete
I have never heard of Matcha, but green tea is a highly prized staple in Asian culture. Although it is easy enough to find it now, there is one item made from green tea which I don't think a lot of people have tried. It is absolutely one of my favorite treats and I highly recommend it. It is the beautifully bright and flavorful Green Tea ice cream. If you've never had it.....Well....What are you waiting for? =)
