Its a shame she didn't have a successful carrier !

Thank You for your efforts of interest. When I was a young woman my mother used to say I looked like Kim Novak. I was eating out in the North End of Boston in 1988, and I was mistaken for Miss Novak by a table full of women.Looking at this woman I can't imagine myself coming even close in measuring to her beauty. What I liked best was that she now lives a content life with her husband raising and caring for animals. That sounds good to me. I liked hearing .."the rest of the story". We saw them all one the Big Screen, and some times I think that "we"need also to know them as just human as ourselves. Or they fade out of sight and we never know what the rest of their story was.You efforts filled in some of those blanks. Again Thanks.Rebecca

Kim Novak. Mm mm mm! "Vertigo"..."Bell Book & Candle"..."Pfffft" "The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders"...and select issues of Playboy in the 1960's! Quite a beauty.

first time i've read a lens from start to finish and thoroughly enjoyed it in a long while. Thanks for creating this lens, and including a fellow Brit, Dors, often overlooked I think.

My personal favourite is Jayne Mansfield, she was so beautiful, terribly sad she met such a gruesome death.

Hi Richard. Love the compilation. I am excited to read about your books and will def have to check them out. I have been collecting on these fabulous women for over 20 years and have quite a collection. Actually, I am starting to sell much of it. I have recently sold most of my Cleo Moore film posters and films but I have much on Joi Lansing, Jayne Mansfield, Mamie (a lot of Mamie autographs), Sheree, and many of the others. If you are interested in corresponding or adding to your collection, please feel free to email me at uniqueportraitartist@hotmail.com. Thanks and good luck with your wonderful work. It's about time someone gave these women they deserve.

I like Kim Novak, huge waste of talent. kim became a star with her very first movie and for a couple years was the most popular actress. but her career completely died after her burst of fame in the 60s. doesn't make much sense does it? after starring in classic hits she? should have got roles in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and today. where has she been?
