Original Design Hand-Made Blue Bead Earrings - Great Gifts
Many years ago, a young man with flowing hair and a patchwork coat of many colours came to stay with us. He made a living selling hand-crafted cheap beaded earrings in Covent Garden Market. Fascinated, we would watch him making jewellery and he taught my son how to make bead earrings; soon I was designing and making bead jewelry (or is it bead jewellery?) too.
It was such an enjoyable craft, because beads come in so many shapes and colours, and are very appealing to work with.
On retirement, I thought it would be fun to turn my hand to craft projects, so I bought my own jewellery making kit. Several shops in London specialize in cheap beads for jewellery making, and I would spend ages mooning over the different types - glass beads, Murano beads, metal beads, wooden beads and so forth, putting them together to try out how they would look as earrings, and creating new designs. I still take quite a long time making each pair of bead earrings, trying first this bead, and then that - tiny beads, round beads, shaped beads - and different findings, to assess which beads look good together. (Findings are the metal hooks and wires which are used to make the earrings)
I have made this web page to exhibit and sell my attractive cheap blue bead earrings.
These are all affordable hand-crafted unique bead earrings which I designed myself - they all cost £7.00 or $11.50 and are affordable enough for you to buy several pairs as presents.
