Virginia Senate Race 2008

Bob Marshall believes that Tax Payers are not ATM Machines!

Life, Liberty, Property

Too often today the candidates of both parties are so close together on the issues that it is difficult to see any real difference. This will not be true of Mr. Marshall, a 16 year State Legislator. Bob clearly stands in the conservative camp. Bob believes, contrary to much of the Virginia General Assembly, that taxpayers are not ATM Machines.

Bob Marshall on the Issues

Taxpayers are not bottomless ATM Machines - Massive federal debt causes inflation and is stealing our children's and grandchildren's future. We are not $9 Trillion in debt.

Unsustainable Federal Spending Must Be Stopped - "Government waste is growing and far exceeds the cost of fraud and abuse. ... Our current long-range fiscal path is clearly imprudent and fiscally unsustainable." - US Government Accountability Office (GAO)

International Trade Trade policies which penalize American companies must be changed or we will continue to lose jobs and capital overseas. We must ged rid on the red tape, the tax burdens and regulations here at home so companies do not have the incentive to move overseas.

100% Pro Life, Family and 2nd Amendment Restore legal protection to all pre-born children. Uphold one-man, one women marriage. No tax money to Planned Parenthood. Uphold the right to defend our life.

Save Social Security No Social Security benefits should go to illegal aliens, and Social Security benefits should NOT be taxed or spent or other uses. Streamline Medicaid, weed out fraud.

No Amnesty, Secure America's Borders Bob Marshall's 2007 law created the Virginia Immigration Commission to examine failed federal policies and recommend action. States must be given the powers they had before 1986 to enforce anti-illegal immigration laws. Lawful immigrants are welcomed.

Strong National Defense America and our Allies have WON the Iraq war, but only the Iraqi people can win the peace. America cannot cut and run or set timetables for withdrawal, but we must reduce our military presence as the region stabilizes. We must not over commit the 1.5 million dedicated men and women of our military. Our national security is paramount.

Prudent Foreign Policy America has treaties made 50 years ago under different conditions. Bob agrees with President Reagan's late UN Ambassador, Jeane Kirkpatrick, that we must re-examine the commitments of American manpower and money to protect affluent and militarily capable nations, unless these nations are crucial to protecting American security.

Conserve the Environment The earth is a gift that must be prreserved by good stewardship so that our children and grandchildren can enjoy what our forefathers enjoyed. Wasting or destroying our natural resources is stealing from our children. bob Marshall received a 100% rating from the Virginia League of Conservation Voters in 2007.

Thanks for supporting my father for U.S. Senate. He truly is an honest politician and I mean it. Keep spreading the word, it's growing and let's keep it that way!

I was at a meeting last night where Bob Marshall's campaign was mentioned and the consensus was that Bob was truly an honest politician and that was something that unfortunately we could not say about very many politicians.
