Jon Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory"

Jon Bon Jovi's song "Blaze of Glory" was written for the 1990 western movie Young Guns II about Billy the Kid and some of his outlaw buddies. I really don't remember that much about the movie but could never forget the song. "Blaze of Glory" was a #1 hit and can be found on Jon's first solo album Blaze Of Glory: Songs Written And Performed By Jon Bon Jovi, Inspired By The Film Young Guns II.

I first heard the song (and saw the video) on MTV and thought, wow, this is the best song ever! If you were around then you've probably heard the song and don't even need me to tell you how good it is.

The album is very listenable as a whole and I also love the songs Miracle and Bang a Drum. I still listen to "Blaze of Glory" quite a bit because it's one of my most favorite songs.

See the movie that "Blaze of Glory" was written for. The movie stars Emilio Estevez as Billy the Kid and also Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Christian Slater as Billy the Kid's outlaw buddies. Plus Jon Bon Jovi makes a brief appearance in the movie! There is also a Young Guns movie that this is a sequel to... I've never seen it.
