I received the Bose In-Ear Headphones for Christmas (which I asked for) without even trying them beforehand. This is not like me. But knowing what a great company Bose is I decided it would be a safe shot. When I first tried them I was surprised by the lack of exterior noise reduction. There really isn't any.

Despite superb audio quality, I would not recommend the Bose in-ear headphone to anyone who exercises and has an active lifestyle. First, the cord that Bose has chosen to use with this headphone is plastic-coated and fairly stiff, a significant departure from the supple cords used on other Bose headphones. As a result, the cord for the in-ear headphone tends to tangle.

I'm going to start off by saying I have the black and white chord ear phones, and they were bought in late 2009, as in the latest generation. I also bought these because I wanted earphones that were comfortable, high sound quality, and low profile.

Ok, so, these ear phones are awesome. I haven't had a single problem that has been described in the other reviews. To me it seems people were reviewing the service they received from the store they bought it from rather than the actual product...
