Bowflex Revolution XP Review

Are you frustrated with your weight, out of shape, and always feeling tired ? Well, I may have the perfect solution for you. The Bowflex Revolution XP is one of the most talked about and sought after home gyms on the market. After seeing all those fancy Bowflex infomercials, I had to find out if it really worked!

So, look no further because I've laid out all the facts and my personal review of this sometimes over hyped but feature packed home gym!

"An Extremely Powerful Yet Compact Home Gym!"

After reading through dozens of Bowflex Revolution XP reviews I decided to take the plunge! With a 6-week money back guarantee if I was not 100% satisfied, I felt it was worth a shot.

I've been using it for 4 months and I must say the results are better than expected! What makes it so effective is that I can isolate and develop any body part with total control.

The Revolution XP is quite versatile and offers 90 exercises and close to 400 variations. Enough to keep anyone busy. It's like having all your favorite exercises from the gym packed into one machine!

Kiss those flabby arms and man boobs goodbye!

Day One On The Bowflex Revolution XP Home Gym

It Went Better Than Expected ...

My Revolution XP Home Gym arrived within 2 weeks as promised from Bowflex. Setting it up took about an hour. Not a big deal. The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow.

What Makes It So Great? ... Well, there's several things but I'll start with the biggest. Bowflex really did their home work on this one. Compared to other home gyms, the Revolution is untouchable when it comes to the quality and quantity of exercises. Never have I seen so much packed into one exercise machine!

It took me about a week to get used to it. Unlike free weights, when you perform an exercise on the XP, the cables fight you from the the beginning and to the very end of your muscle contraction. The resistance stays even throughout the exercise resulting in a massive pump! Just like a spotter, the Bowflex makes you work harder but smarter for faster and better results.

The Bowflex Revolution XP packs 200lbs of resistance which can be upgraded to 280 lbs. This makes it great for all fitness levels. Don't get too hung up on pushing big numbers because its all about quality rather than quantity when your working out on a Revolution.

You'll find it very hard to cheat on the Revolution. Due to the nature and control of using cables, you can't swing your body like you would with a set of dumbbells. It only took me a month of regular training to really see the results of high-quality, perfect form training!

Benefits & Features Of The Bowflex Revolution XP

What I've noticed ...

These are some of the awesome benefits I've come to realize using the XP.

  • 200 lbs of weight resistance to challenge beginners and intermediates (as you get stronger you can upgrade to 280 lbs)
  • 90 exercises and 400 variations to add tons of variety to workouts and correct problematic body parts
  • Each side works independently so two people can work out at the same time
  • Switching exercises is fast and easy
  • Small footprint makes it a good match for apartments and small homes.
  • You won't have to wait in line at the gym or spend money on gas
  • Is It Really Worth It?

The Bowflex Revolution XP Home Gym is hard to beat for the money. It's not cheap but no other gym in its class offers the same quality and quantity of exercises. I've tried the Total Body and Weider home gyms and they just don't offer the same level of quality and versatility of Bowflex.

If you want all the benefits of going to the gym but without the hassle then I would definitely consider the Bowflex Revolution XP. With 90 exercises, up to 280 lbs of resistance, and a 6-week money back guarantee if your not 100% satisfied, you really can't go wrong.

Just over 3 months of training and I'm totally digging my new body. I used to hate taking my shirt off at the beach but now I love it!

Excellent information! I wish I had room for one of these in my condo and could quit trekking to the gym! :-) 5 stars!
