50 dollar Alternative to Bowflex - Bodylastics

Bowflex is a famous home gym system that uses polymer rods for resistance instead of the traditional weights used in the weight machines. It is large and includes a bench, leg and arm levers. But it is smaller than the typical home gyms as only one machine needs to be purchased instead of many in the typical home gyms. But the Bowflex comes with a heavy price tag. It costs up to $2000. The alternative to this is Bodylastics which is a similar system that uses resistance training but just costs a mere 50 dollars.

Bowflex And Its Alternative

In Detail

Bodylastics uses elastic resistance training instead of polymer rods used by Bowflex. The results are similar to that of Bowflex but this is for a very cheap cost.

In Bowflex, tension levels can be increased or decreased by hooking the bars to the bench. The resistance levels in Bodylastics can be increased or decreased by using different elastic bands.
Despite its cost, the bowflex still has some disadvantages. The power rods are connected to cables and rely on pulleys to get resistance. And the results with the given resistance is not smooth. But Bodylastics uses elastic bands and quick clip system which creates smooth resistance so that it does not cause injuries to exercisers.

Bowflex is very big, bulky machine and it has to stay where it is. It is not portable and you need more space. But Bodylastics can be used anywhere even while you are traveling. It's portable and can be packed into your bag.

From all view points, the Bodylastics System seems to be better choice than the Bowflex. The biggest advantage in Bodylastics is its price which is as low as fifty dollars. Instead of spending $1000 for a bulky exercise and less effective home gym system you can spend just fifty dollars for it and make your workouts more effective.

What's Bodylastics got against the Bowflex Motivator:

Bodylastics was actually designed to be the alternative for the best home gyms by using the best form of resistance (elastic resistance) along with well designed components like the door anchor and the quick clip system.
The system gives 31 levels of resistance which is almost equal to that of 5-65 lbs of dumbbells. It also gives additional resistance bands but it's never needed because this is more than enough unless muscle building is your profession.
It also lets you do 140 quality exercises similar to that of the gym and health club whereas the Bowflex motivator allows you to only perform 55 quality gym exercises.

The Bowflex motivator has 210 pounds of resistance yet bodylastics betters it as you can get extra resistance bands and use them.
Bodylastics Price - Under $50. Motivator - $798.

Building Muscle With Bowflex?

Is it possible to build the muscles you want with Bowflex?. The possible answers are yes and no. There are loads of exercises you can do to build muscle with Bowflex. What you'll get would depend on how much you were committed to your plan and performed workouts regularly.

The original fact with Bowflex is that you can not have a lot of muscles mass just by training with huge home gym like Bowflex. This home gym can help you get your body lean and burn of fat. It might help you get six packs but the results would take over two months. If you really want to build up a body that has rock solid abs and massive shoulders then you need to consider working out with resistance bands.

With the Bowflex you can do around a 50 exercises that are of gym quality. The main thing you can achieve with a Bowflex is a lean body with a good physique. But it is not suitable for all fitness levels either though it is considered a home gym.

Bodylastics - Bowflex performance for less than $100

by Tanner Larsson

Aquiring the best body has become something of an fixation in todays society. Each year hundreds if not thousands of people spend ever increasing amounts of money in pursuit of their fitness or health goals. They buy over priced gym equipment, hire fitness professionals, buying the latest miracle weight loss pill and take a multitude of workout clasess on their quest to attain physical perfection. Lately, however a more effective application has been released to help you attain physical perfection.. Bodylastics International, Inc. has released the new Bodylastics Home Gym thats designed to provide a full body workout solution at an affordable price.

It's a simple truth that the majority of Americans don't fitness as much as they should for optimum health.lack of money, lack of knowledge and lazyiness are some of the factors that contribute to this. A large portion of those interested in getting in shape don't have much in the way of excess cash to invest on fitness products, and truth be told there are very few home gyms for sale that can be purchased for an affordable price. This is where the Bodylastics system comes in, contrived and to be super effective and affordable and catch the fancy of to the average fitness enthusiast and favorably compete with other home gym equipment on the marketwith the other home gyms on the market.

Vaunted as the $50 alternative to the Bowflex System, the bodylastics home gym offers the purchaser a greater range of workout capabilities than the bowflex system can offer and in a more affordable and practical package. Rather than a big, bulky machine with multiple parts that must be assembled, then continuously adjusted to provide a greater level of tension, bodylastics inc. instead, uses the elastic resistance theory, in which lightweight elastic tubes similar to surgical tubing are used to produce resistance to movement, strengthening the users muscles much the same way that a weighted pulley, barbell or benchpress would. Each of the elastic tube is of a differing thickness, each different thickness equals a different amount of tension.

The littlest tubing starts at five lb, the biggest equals 22 pounds. These tubes can also be combined and used together as muscle strength increases; a light tube can be used at the same time with the twenty two pound tube, resulting in twenty seven pounds of resistance. These can be combined in any way, ruling out the problem of not being able to find a comfortable weight to train with. Just add or remove tubes as necessary!

Possibly the most outstanding advantage of the Bodylastics system over Bowflex is its compact nature. The concept of packing up a Bowflex machine and taking it with you on vacation is ridiculous; yet, this is very doable with the Bodylastics equipment. Bodylastics introduced the door anchor and quick clip system to the fitness market, allowing the user to simply take the foam anchor and attach it to any closing door, fence, or any other immobile object.

The tubes then attach the anchor and the handles or ankle straps using the quick clip system, allowing for easy adjustment. No tools or hours of work are required, and no further assembly is needed. Every order of the Bodylastics portable gym comes complete with its own handy travel bag and a users guide, letting even those lacking knowledge in the art of fitness to gain the greatest benefits from this revolutionary new system.
