Country Music Star Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley was born October 28, 1972 in Glen Dale, West Virginia. At the age of eight Brad Paisley received his first guitar as a gift from his grandfather. Two years later he had his first public performance at his local church at the age of 10. At 12 he formed his first band C-Notes and started writing his own songs. From the age of 13 through 20 he played for WWVA Jamboree USA. After singing with Arista, in 1999, he had his first debut solo album Who Needs Pictures. The record produced 2 chart-topping singles "He Didn't Have to Be" and "We Danced".

Brad Paisley has recently released his eighth album American Saturday Night. He has had 23 Top 40 records with 14 of them hitting #1. He has sold more than 10 million cds and has had year after year of sold out arena show.

In February of 2001 he was inducted into Grand Ole Opry.

Brad Paisley has won 4 Grammy's. He has been named Best Male Vocalist for the last 2 years by the Country Music Association and the last 3 years by the Academy of Country Music.

In 2009 at the ACM Awards he took home Video of the Year for "Waitin" on a Woman" (which featured Andy Griffith). He also received Vocal Event of the Year with his duet with Keith Urban on "Start a Band"

Brad Paisley has also received Album of the Year from both CMA and ACM Music Awards.

Brad Paisley's easy going personality makes him the type of guy that millions of his fans can relate to. He's the guy next door with the funny sense of humor, the guy you call up when you want a fishing buddy. His songs are about the moments in everyone's lives that are big and those that are everyday. He is happily married to Kimberly Williams-Paisley (who is on TV series According to Jim). They now have two boys- 2 year old son William Huckleberry and Jasper Warren who was born in early 2009.
