How to organise all your information easily
Mind Mapping
My personal experiences
I was constantly taking notes in Word and saving them into a file. By the end of the course I had all my notes in a folder and when I went to reinforce what I had learnt I discovered 20 documents!
I was about to EXPLODE! You can imagine how frustrating it is tying to find specific notes in 20 different documents!

Then and there I started searching trying to discover a way to store my information in a graphical format.
I stumbled across a program called FreeMind which is the program I'll be explaining how to use in future paragraphs. I enjoyed FreeMind so much I decided to upgrade to a paid version called Mindjet.
It is incredible how easy it is to access information when it's in a graphical format.
New age of Mind Mapping
Now this is fine if you're only taking a few notes on one subject, but if you attend a course whether it be on the internet or not, you are learning different information on many different subjects.
After awhile it begins to become terribly frustrating having multiple documents with different notes in a folder.
Every time you want to access some information you can end up spending ages trying to find the information.
I'm here to tell you, there is a much easier way to store information thus making it easier to access your information.
Instead of taking vast amounts of time to locate information in over 10 different subjects it can literally take a few seconds using MindMapping!

How can we fix this problem!?!
It is a proven fact that the human brain can remember information a lot better when the information is made accessible in a structured and graphical way. Mind mapping is incredibly easy, and all you have to do is download a free Mind Map program called FreeMind, you can download it here.
The program allows you to enter information in a structured format, now a Mind Map can be used for storing information about EVERYTHING you can think of. Now here is a quick example I whipped up.

Now I'll explain how to create a mind map. First you create a central topic, this could be 'My Life' or something along those lines but for now I'm using Example. You are able to create Subtopics for example I have 'Contacts' which will contain my friends and families addresses, phone numbers, etc.
You are able to create subtopics inside subtopics, for example in Contacts I have family and friends and inside those I have more subtopics like phone number, address etc.
Now you must be thinking where is all the information kept? Well that's simple, click on a subtopic and at the bottom of the page there is a space to write notes. Just copy or type your notes into the space provided and every time you click on the subtopic the notes will appear.
