Having been to several I can honestly say that once you have the opportunity to see one you will do anything to find a way to go back for more. From Phantom of the Opera to Les Miserables and from Wicked to the Wizard of Oz, they all started in the same place. If you have only had the opportunity to see the Phantom of the Opera on the recently released movie version you simply MUST try to see the Broadway version if you get the opportunity. While the singing and visuals in the movie are quite good nothing can compare to the incredible experience of seeing it live on stage.
