Why Bryan, Texas?
In Bryan, we say that we have The Good Life, Texas Style. Part of the reason is because we believe Bryan is a great place for families and kids.
So this lens is really about our passion to be known as a family- and kid-friendly city.
We have cool parks and innovative recreational programs to challenge kids of all ages -- even your pre-K kids; public schools that allow children to grow up experiencing other cultures while learning the importance of public service; the finest private schools in this part of Texas; and even Blinn College and Texas A&M University just down the street.
Children in Bryan are blessed to be in a place with colorful local history, varied architecture, and museums and festivals designed just for them.
Bryan is not a perfect city. But it's a great place to be a kid and to learn to be a caring adult.

I lived in Bryan in the 1980s and it was a nice place. Not having been there in a long time, I recently visited friends there and was so impressed! The old downtown is looking great and I even checked out the two new golf courses. Wow! I agree, Bryan was a nice place for me and my family.
