Using Internet Marketing to Build a WorldVentures Business
Many WorldVentures distributors wish to build their business using the power of internet marketing. In fact, the #1 question I get every time I go to an Acceleration is: "How do you build the business through the internet?"
Proof that it's possible: I have personally grown 2 separate teams of several thousand team members from all over the world using internet marketing techniques.
The good news for you is that building ANY business through internet marketing is not nearly as "hard" or "computer geeky" as you may think. In fact, using very simple tools and techniques, I have personally coached several hundreds of people, from all walks of life, to get their first enrollments using the power the internet.

The good news for you is that building ANY business through internet marketing is not nearly as "hard" or "computer geeky" as you may think. A Tools Based Culture Is Essential For Duplication

Here is where many WorldVentures and other network marketing teams struggle to grow through internet marketing. "Normal" network marketing is very duplicable, to just talk to your friends & family and let them see a website, show them a DVD, show them a magazine, etc. Literally anyone can do that...it's just that most people don't want to deal w/ the perceived "pain" as many people have major "fear of rejection" issues. This comes up quite a lot as when you approach "friends & family"...you have no idea where they're at in their lives and if they're even open to network marketing or creating extra income. So, the potential for them to reject the IDEAS you're presenting is high. This is why so many are attracted to internet marketing...where you can ATTRACT people to you that are already interested in network marketing, already interested in your company (WorldVentures), already interested in travel, etc.
Many people want to avoid the fear of rejection of their friends & family and grow a WorldVentures business through the internet. The problem lies in that some internet marketing tasks are only for super computer geeks and rocket scientists. (And these same "hard to master" tasks are the ones with high publicity like google adwords and "SEO")
There ARE systems out there which allow average, every day people from all walks of life to learn internet marketing. (and not just "learn" it...but MASTER it and drive HUGE amounts of targeted traffic to their WorldVentures business.)
Some examples of what to look for in a highly duplicable system include:
- Step by step (click by click) tutorials.
- Internet marketing Webinars (be sure they're based around "beginners" or YOUR current level of competence.)
- Experienced Upline/Mentors/Coaches (The #1 rule to success is to find someone who's already done what you're trying to do...and do EXACTLY as they are doing...which will get you the same results they had.)
- A very solid team with a great team culture.
The above hints at finding the right mentor, but that is an entire article in itself. I'll write about that soon and link to it here. You DO want to be sure you can communicate with your "sponsor" and you DO want to make sure you get along with them. They don't necessarily need to have already made it "full time"...but it does help if they already have at least SOME success...or close access to very successful other mentors. At the VERY least, they need to have access to a great system, and access to great upline team members.

Retention in Network Marketing is all about Relationships, Communication, and Trust
The bonds that are formed at WorldVentures Acceleration events and DreamTrips...
A huge key to explosive growth in WorldVentures, or any other network marketing business, is to have rock solid relationships among your teammates.
All relationships are built upon communication.
With 90% of all communication being non-verbal, building through the telephone, web conferences, skype, and email can make forming close relationships challenging. It CAN be done...but it takes many more exposures and in general, much more time before trust can be built up.
Notice I mention "trust", which is the final goal when building relationships. If you are a untrustworthy individual, you will have an extremely hard time becoming successful in network marketing. (My writing assumes you are an honest person and looking at network marketing with the best intentions.) Trust is built when people's actions are consistent with their words over time. When you are in a face-to-face environment, this happens more quickly as your intuition & eyeballs pick up a LOT of that 90% of non-verbal communication and verifies with your brain that everything is checking out "okay". One's body language must match their words...which is harder to "see" or "feel" over the phone, webinar, or especially hard over email. Can you picture anyone you've met in person that had "all the right words", but yet immediately you had a feeling or intuition that they were "bad" or "not right"? Did you trust this person? If you can look back, what made you lose trust in them?
This is an example of some of the 90% non-verbal communication that can be VERY hard to pick up over a phone, email, etc. Because of this, most people take an extra amount of time to develop trust without all of the non-verbal communication to "read". Their minds just don't naturally "trust" a voice over the phone...they need multiple exposures over time to experience the consistency of one's words & actions.
Dream Trips and Acceleration are part of the answer to growing a WorldVentures business online, but still forming a great team environment. You can very quickly form close business partnerships and friendships when you meet "in real life"...especially if you're traveling the world in exotic locations!

This is a great article. It's very personal in nature and really draws us closer to you. Plus, I really love the videos! I am so used to working in the dark and being un-exposed; however, I am learning that I need to be more exposed. These teachings are helpful to me and will allow me to finally come out of the darkness and into the light. Thanks for all that you do. You are a really great person and fantastic leader.
