Tip 1
Concentrate on your negative lifting phase. Work on on tempos that best overload your chest muscles. Too many people emphasize on the positive phase of lifting weights. Try tempos like a 3-1-3. Take three seconds to lift the weight, pause and flex your muscles, then take three seconds to lower the weight.

Tip 2
Change up from barbells to dumbbells once and a while. Dumbbells recruit more muscle mass and fibers. They also provide a great change up from barbells. Dumbbells provide isolation on each pectoral muscle so one side gets as much stimulation as the other.

Tip 3
Super Setting is a great way to build chest muscle fast. Perform two different exercises back to back without rest. Superset barbell chest presses with incline dumbbell chest presses. Perform one set of barbell chest presses and as soon as your done with that set perform a set of incline dumbbell presses. Repeat that process 3-4 times.

Tip 4
Too few of people realize how important other muscles are in building chest muscle fast. Abs and back are key to this. Ab muscles stabilize your body while building a stronger back can improve your bench press strength. Include intense back workouts in your routines and do not forget about your abs!
