We, as business owners, have a vested interest and financial commitment to the success of this restaurant. Our intention is to have a definitive business, financial, and a marketing plan that not only serves our need for capital funding, but is used as our road map daily. We have taken all precautions to validate our business and financial models, focusing on realistic projections. We have accomplished this as follows:
1. Our financial model is rooted in industry facts, not optimism. We have a fee based on our industry and its experience with similar companies, validation against national averages Restaurant industry costs and analysis against the average local market of Karachi.
We have taken a collective look at all the figures to make solid business estimates.
2. Our business concept has been calculated from detailed market analyzes. Instead of building a business around a preconceived concept, we analyzed the results of the market and built a concept around our consumers. In other words, our company was built to serve an unmet consumer 'want'.
3. A strong risk mitigation plan. We evaluated traditional and nontraditional risk associated with Restaurant failure and accounted for them directly in the business plan. Instead of dismissing the risks we have identified valid mitigation strategies for each.
4. Deep management experience. Our management team has extensive combined experience, involved with the variety of restaurant openings in, and deep involvement with the restaurant industry of Pakistan.
5. The total capital requirement to launch Zara Restaurant & Lounge is Rs.3000, 000, Rs.2500, 000 is earmarked for start-up capital, and Rs.500, 000 that companies with the operational reserve.
