Pizzaz Pages would like to create your web page exactly to your specifications. We'll include your graphics, photos, feature your products and develop written copy that suits your needs.

From you, we're hoping to receive:

* Your Business Logo - don't have one? We can make a simple graphic for you in a jiffy.

* Photos or Graphics you'd like featured including product images.

* Business Hours and Location - We'll add a text list of your hours or create a graphic for you. We'll also add an interactive Google map for easy driving directions.

* Featured Information - Let us know what makes your business the greatest resource available to your customers and what sets you apart from your competition. Are you aware of articles, reviews, forum conversations or other information about your company that's already on the web? We'd love to include links to these.

* Your Products - If you already have a website that sells your products, please give us the web address of this site, and we'll feature direct links to those products individually or through category pages.

* About Us - Care to share a little history? We're happy to feature a section that highlights your history and shares personal comments and thoughts.

Don't worry if you're not able to send this information over the computer, we're able to scan and feature your logo, menu, graphics if you have items you'd like to send us through the mail.

Once you've approved our design for your lenspage, and made payment, we'd like to be sure that the search engines have indexed your lens and that it stays indexed. This process can take from 10 days to 2 weeks. After we've made any necessary changes, your business page will be ready for transfer to your name.

You'll need to create a Squidoo.com account, this is free. Sign up here: Account Sign Up Page. The name that you choose for your Squidoo account is the name that will also be featured as your profile name, perhaps it's best to keep it as your business name. This can be changed later too, if you'd like.

Once your squidoo account is ready, Pizzaz Design will send you an email to transfer ownership. This is a simple process of simply accepting the transfer:

When this is done, you'll now be able to update or change your lenspage at any time. Access your lens dashboard at this address: http://www.squidoo.com/lensmaster/dashboard.

Once we've transferred the ownership of your new lenspage to your name, the first thing you'll most likely want to do is learn how to change or update your page information.

Every LensMaster (the Squidoo term for Webmaster) has their own dashboard which details various statistics and also allows access into your "Edit" mode, or "lens workshop".

You're also able to access your dashboard from the ordinary view of your lenspage, once you've logged in. The dashboard and login links are at the top right corner of every lens as shown below:

Once You're in your Lensmaster Dashboard, click "EDIT" to enter your Workshop to modify any portion of your lenspage. Click "Edit" again, to enter any module.

Squidoo.com affords wonderful opportunities to customize your web page with RSS feeds, You Tube Videos, Reader Polls or Interactive Commentary, Sales through Cafe Press or Zazzle, or Direct Ebay Product links. Following this Buttons Module, there are examples of each of these marvelous ways to add excitement and distinction to your web page.

The Workshop Buttons: "Keep This Draft" will save your changes without publishing them, this will enable you to keep working while you're still editing. "Publish" will update your lens and publish your changes. You'll see confirmation of each of these actions after clicking these buttons.

Add More ModuleFeatures by clicking the big yellow "Add Modules" button, and you'll be directed to this expansive list. Now you'll just select your choices and click "Save". Each of your new selections will appear at the bottom of your workshop.

It's not at all difficult to rearrange your page components - just click "Reorder Modules" to change your layout by dragging and moving to reorder any section.

We've mentioned before that Squidoo.com is able to offer free hosting by placing ads around the perimeter of your lenspage. These often generate income, based on your "lensrank" as shown on your statistics page within your dashboard. Typically, lenses that rank between 10,000 - 20,000 will generate just pennies per month. This is likely where your lens will stay with weekly or monthly updates and fairly frequent visits.

Lenses that rank under 2000 within Squidoo's ranking system can generate $8.00 or more per month. Getting into this higher echelon isn't easy though, everyone is vying for this kind of popularity. Lenses between 2,000 and 10,000 in ranks can garner three to five dollars every month. Payment of your monthly earnings (offset by two months), are deposited directly into your Paypal account.

Many of our lensmasters have chosen to donate these monies to charity. This is up to you. You're welcome to choose from hundreds of charities within the squidoo charity listings, or leave it to default. Change these settings within your lensworkshop in the right hand column.

Keeping up with the Search Engine indexes can often be a bit of a task. This is one of the reasons that we'd like to take a week or two to be certain that your PizzazPage has been found and then indexed by the Search Engines properly for your related terms searches.

Google and other search engines will maintain your lenspage listing if you update your lens at least once a month. This can be as simple as changing one word, or even just entering the "Edit" command on any of your modules, clicking "Save" and then clicking "Publish" at the top or bottom of your lens workshop.
