It may be acceptable to drink a little to signify unwinding outside office hours. But never drink too much nor take advantage of their kindness. But Italians would love for you to get a second serving when offered.
Body Language. Determining the right body language of a certain culture can be tricky for businessmen. While some gestures are common in your homeland, there's a possibility that it is considered offensive in another culture. Pointing your index finger at somebody or talking while your hands are in your pocket is rude when you're in Belgium.
Do your Homework. Get to know a few facts about your destination. Knowing how to properly convey your message such as acts of respect and appreciation can go a long way. It is vital to represent your company in your best behavior.
