From the lens Why Not To Buy A Canon Digital Rebel XTi.

    Nothing wrong with the Rebel XTi at all :) Maybe the Automatic Settings need to be corrected, so what does that mean?? That you actually have to RTM and "learn" how to use the camera instead of letting a piece of technology make simple decisions for you. Try one in Manual Mode. It took me two days of trial and error to start seeing great results. I nopw only use it as a campaign against XTi haters :) There is no reason to bash it...

    My canon is fantastic, I got an earlier model to this, but I'm very pleased with it. It takes fantastic portraits and I still don't know what I'm doing with it.

    I agree. I had a friend with this camera and he never had a problem with it. And I think it's a very neat camera.

    I've always had Canon cameras and love my digital Rebel. I'm sure there are things people don't like, but I think it's a great camera.
