Red Alert 3: The Best Real Time Strategy Game at the Moment

This is to share a real gamer and at the same time artist and programmer's view of the hot and cool games, the long living vintage games that are still interesting and the cool new next-gen games, both offline and online in genres that include RTS, FPS, MMORPGS, Web/Text Based, Mind games, etc. I will share my critics and at the same time comments on such games and why they should or should not be promoted. In the end, I am gonna make my own computer game, from 2d, then to 3d.

First, what does it take to play Red Alert 3

System Requirements (my pc specs):
Processor: Athlon +3600 X2 Dual Core (1.9 GHz)
Soundcard: Integrated
Videocard: 256 mb 128 bit Nvidia 7300GT (medium detail)
Disk Space: 5.78 Gigabyte
RAM: 1 GB of 800MHz memory (Transcend)
Misc: Mouse and Keyboard, and best played with Samsung 940BW 19" LCD screen(optional ^^)

These are super cool games, they may be unrealistic, but takes the stress off our bodies, but multiplies stress many times if you lose though! These are for real time strategy enthusiasts who doesn't want to fight in the front lines but command a vast army behind the scenes.

A Brief Sneak Peek into the Time Machine

Command and Conquer Games had always been awesome although I wasn't able to play Tiberian Sun, their first RTS, the succeeding games prove to be successful. Until Red Alert 3 and Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars were released( Red Alert 3 is the latest). Unrealistic scenarios and technologies yet they deliver awesomeness because it is true that it is in games, that people's fantasies come to reality. It is where they can fly, or better yet, make their own missiles and nukes fly to the sky.


Rating from A+ to D- where A+ is the best and D- is the worst:
Gameplay: A-
Graphics: A+
Compatibility: B+
Sounds: C+
Storyline: A-
Error-free: A-
Overall: A-

Why did I rate sound as C? Because it's almost the same as Red Alert 2 and I prefer the sound effects and music backgrounds of the old StarCraft which is really immersive, with diverse orchestrated music and effects. Once again, this is my opinion. What yours!

Features that don't suck

Game play is the best. Graphics is even better, with its scalability, even your 256 mb vcard will perform very well but of course the graphics is gonna become cartoony but even still, its a good technique by them unlike those other games that attempts to show amazing graphics on lower end card but sacrifices frames persecond. Of course, if you have higher end vcards, theres nothing more that you could ask for. Units are also sooo cool with the behemoth tanks and quick shinobi infantries. From land crawling boats to missile launching battleships, it's a great virtual war you shouldn't miss."

My wishlist of features I wish they would build

As a wishlist to Red Alert 3, I wish they add more variety in defensive structures so they are unpredictable and players can make unique cocktails of defensive structures for more interesting gameplay. Also various resource designs so that they don't look all the same and so that they hold different gameplay values.

Other game technology possibilities

This is my recommended games for real time strategy gamers out there! Until Starcraft 2 is released, in my own opinion, nothing can yet rival this game. We'll see..

I think it is the best since it has the main qualities of an immersive RTS game there is with its array of effects and units. With its fast paced battles and awesome delivery of physically accurate motions and explosions, I vote for this game as the best. Is there anything better?

It has many lacking elements and I don't consider it the best.
