What you see here is not a holiday gift, but the idea behind it certainly could lead to one. What happened here is that some members of the Ryze Business Network got together and created a magnetic to-do-list board which showcases their respective businesses in display ads. The board not only fits nicely on the refrigerator door, but provides a nice note reminder resource most people need. It is also year-round advertising. This board was created by a woman in Canada. One hundred of these boards were shipped to Hidden Valley Lake, CA and stuffed into goodie bags for distribution at a community plaza. However, the concept of a magnetic to-do-list board is ideal for Christmas gift-giving to your best customers.

It began with Synergistic Business Marketing facilitating a write-in campaign by Middletown High School students to the Fox News Channel to cover the Middletown Days Parade & Western Festival in Middletown, CA on June 17, 2006 for the first time in 45 years. The effort was then reinforced by a press kit from the Lake County Marketing Association to the chairman of the Fox News Channel, Roger Ailes. But, the most impressive effort was no doubt made by members of the Ryze Business Network. Thanks to these folks, phone calls and emails poured into the Fox News Channel requesting it visit "Small Town USA" during its most festive time of the year, ,B.Middletown Days. On Saturday, June 17th, 2006 Fox News reporter Adam Housley addressed the large crowd in Downtown Middletown from the parade's reviewing stand. On behalf of the Fox News Channel, he thanked all the high school students for writing the network. He told the crowd that all during the day whenever the weatherman did the weather, he would point to Middletown, CA on the map and mention the Middletown Days 2006 Western Parade and Festival.
