Designers for different cabinet doors are now trying to incorporate different new techniques to further improve and enhance their talents. One of the latest styles that are truly catching the attention of clients is the laser etched cabinet doors.

Laser etching is a technique wherein with the use of laser technology, different art forms are created and embedded in media such as marble, granite and glass. This process is made by burning the substrate to create the design that the artist has in mind. The output for technology can be in black and white or with full color.

This technology is now being adapted in making designs for the cabinet doors. The main substrate is usually glass because it is easier to install with the cabinet doors. Compared with other substrates, glass is lighter. Laser etched cabinet doors are only available in selected stores because of its specialty.

There are several designs that an owner can choose from. The stores have a catalogue wherein they save and compile their present designs. For those who want to be specific with their designs, they can submit their designs as well. It is better if the image or picture which is submitted has a higher resolution. The higher the resolution of the image, the output is better. This is because the finer details are still considered and noted. Every inch of the design is being studied and more particular details are given to the smaller parts of the design. Designs that are accepted are anything from slides, photographs, transparencies and high resolution art reproductions and original artwork. Digital files in bitmap, Photoshop, jpeg, tiff and portable document format are also accepted, provided that the images are at least 300 dpi in size.
