Helping find a Cure for Cancer
Cancer continues to effect millions of people worldwide each and every year. The people effected by Cancer are not only those that are battling the disease, but also their friends and families. Raising awareness of the different types of Cancer is something that must always remain in the forefront of everyone's mind. Continuing the battle over Cancer is important to everyone because no one ever knows when they themselves will be directly battling this disease. Why wait till Cancer infects you before YOU make a difference? Why wait till Cancer effects a loved one before you decide to help in the battle for a cure? How many people do you know that have been effected by Cancer? My guess is that you can name quite a few.

LOS ANGELES - When cancer intrudes on a placid life, the most important asset to have is an indomitable spirit. That is the lesson Farrah Fawcett learned over months of treatments, anguish and hope, and that is the message she planned to deliver to the world when she invited a camera into her life.
"Farrah's Story," a sometimes uplifting, sometimes painful and thoroughly transparent documentary that chronicles Fawcett's fight against cancer, screened Wednesday night at the Paley Center for Media before a solemn audience of friends, colleagues and media. It aired on NBC on Friday.

How many names can you put on your list.
Do you know of someone with Cancer? Are you battling Cancer? Just take a moment and think about this for a second. If you can, get a piece of paper and a pen. Make two columns, one for family and another for friends and acquaintances. In each of the two columns, fill in the names of those that have battled Cancer. It doesn't matter if they won their battle or not just fill in the names.
How many names have you filled in? How many are friends or co workers? How many are family members? Is your name on the list? I am willing to bet that everyone who reads this and does this exercise will have at least two or three names on their sheet of paper.
