Call of Duty PC Game

Call of Duty simulates participation in World War II. Throughout the game, you play as an American soldier, a British soldier, and a Russian soldier. You are joined on some of your missions by computer controlled allies, whose numbers range from two infantrymen to an entire regiment of tanks.

As an American soldier, you play Private Joey Martin, who volunteered for the 101st Airborne in 1942 and was placed in Baker Company. He sees action in France, Germany, Austria, and Belgium.

As a British soldier, you play Sergeant Jack Evans, who was originally a member of D Company, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, 6th Airborne Division, and later serves with the Special Air Service (SAS). He sees action in France, Norway, and Germany.

As a Russian soldier, you play Private Alexei Ivanovich Voronin, a conscript who serves with the 13th Guards Rifle Division, 150th Rifle Division, and 2nd Guards Tank Army. He sees action in Russia, Poland, and Germany.

Your first mission occurs near midnight on 5 June 1944, as part of the airborne operations that began the invasion of Normandy. In the madness that follows you end up in a mixed unit formed from various companies, clearing the farmhouses of German soldiers. The missions that follow carry you through D-Day and events afterward, to the 18th of September and the rescue of an ally from a prisoner camp.

Your life as a British soldier begins with participation in Operation Tonga, the purpose of which was to capture two strategically important bridges for Allied use, destroy several other bridges to deny their use to the Germans, and secure several important villages.

Your first Soviet mission occurs during the Battle of Stalingrad, on one of many barges transporting Soviet soldiers across the Volga River, many of which are destroyed on the way. Once across, Soviet artillery eventually clears out the German machine guns, allowing access to Red Square. The second mission begins in Red Square with many retreating Soviet soldiers being killed by fellow Soviets. Help capture the square and see your character on through the chaos and promotion to Sergeant.

The final campaign holds one last mission for each character.
