Gained Weight Because of Stress?

Are you wondering if stress is the cause of your weight gain? Have you gained weight particularly in your abdominal area lately and can't figure out why? Are you suffering with too much stress in your life? If you answered yes to these two questions, then your weight gain is probably caused by stress.

When we are under extreme stress, our body triggers a biochemical process which releases cortisol and other hormones which can cause weight gain. If you don't learn to reduce the stress, you will continue to gain weight.

I thought that it was impossible to lose the weight I had gained due to stress, and I almost gave up trying until I stumbled upon an amazing resource.
I didn't know how simple and fast it would be to reduce my stress and stop gaining weight.

In this lens, you will learn how I controlled my stress and dropped thirty pounds of weight caused by stress by using this audio. If I can do it - you can too!

Emotional Eating Caused By Stress Is Causing You To Gain Weight

Emotional eating which is caused by stress can cause you to gain weight very quickly. Although some people lose weight when under stress, the majority of people eat to help relieve the stress. Emotional eating usually consists of starchy, high carbohydrate foods which have a comforting effect on us. Eating temporarily makes us feel better, but it does not solve the problem which is causing it - extreme stress.

In order to control our emotional eating, we must address the underlying emotional problems which cause the stress. We have to identify what triggers our emotional eating and change our mindset.

Using Meditation To Get Rid Of Weight Gain Caused By Stress

Can using meditation help to get rid of weight gain caused by stress? It most certainly can. Meditation counteracts stress by creating the opposite reaction, which is relaxation. Sure, you can relax by sleeping, watching television or reading, but meditation is specifically designed to produce a "relaxation response" which is the opposite of "stress response". It reduces your heart rate, blood pressure, and rate of breathing. It can even improve your digestion, because the production of digestive secretions increases during this process.

I have tried many different meditation audios and have found the Deep Zen Meditation audios to be the best. You simply put on your headphones, sit back and listen to an audio as it guides you to total relaxation. It is amazing how fast these audios work to relieve stress and help you start losing the weight. They are currently offering a free Deep Zen Meditation demo.

Exercise To Reduce Stress Caused Weight Gain

Along with using meditation to reduce stress caused weight gain, I also exercise every day. I faithfully walk for at least thirty minutes a day. I have found that walking outside clears my mind, helps relieve stress and make me feel much better.

Any type of exercise will reduce stress as long as you do it on a regular basis. I also love using a rebounder (mini-trampoline). It is great fun. The key to sticking with an exercise program is find something you enjoy doing - try some new activities.
