Constellation Capricornus/ Capricorn

The Sea-Goat or Goat Fish

Located between Sagittaruis the Archer and Aquarius the Water-Bearer, Capricornus is a faint triangle of stars that form the body of the Sea-Goat.

There are many myths associated with the origin of this constellation. One story goes that Pan (another half & half creature - human head/body, goat legs, tail, ears & horns) was at a lovely picnic with all the gods of Mount Olympus when the monster Typhon attacked them. Trying to flee, he jumped into the river Nile and the half that was under water changed into a fish-tail, but his upper body was that of a goat.
Another version goes that he helped to rescue Jupiter/Zeus, king of the gods and the prime target of the attack, and was placed among the stars in the heavens as a reward for his good deed.

Most of these are thanks to astrotheme.fr, a wonderful French site.
Be aware a few glyhps (symbols) look a little different in the European style: Neptune looks like a rounded Trident with a small circle below, and Pluto looks like a crescent moon cup over a small upside-down Venus glyph.
The Gemini glyph will look like some kind of Celtic knot design.
