Carbon Copy Pro Vs Reverse Funnel System

Basically, there are 5 major marketing concerns addressed by this type of Automated System and the 5th, the most important factor.

These are:

1) Credibility

2) Running out of funds before making a sale

3) Need to become a master salesman

4) The Marketing

5) The importance of who you team up with

Funny thing about network marketing is that everyone wants to join "the Top Leader"... because the leader has a credible story.

But, as you can imagine, this puts the "newbie" marketer at a HUGE disadvantage -- he has trouble getting business since everyone else is seeking out "the leader" who has a real success story, so it is only obvious why most would rather join the top guy! This is one of the biggest contributing factors to the 97% failure rate normally seen in this industry.

But, systems like Carbon Copy Pro and the Reverse Funnel set out to solve and eliminate this very problem by letting everyone use the story of the leader!

With the Reverse Funnel System, everyone just thinks they are dealing directly with Ty. In Carbon Copy Pro, everyone thinks they are dealing directly with Jay.

Everyone markets identical websites with RFS and CCP which eliminates the need to brand yourself which branding is pretty much foreign language to newbie marketers, on top of that not having their own success story makes it just that much more difficult. No one wants to team up with someone who has never achieved success, if you know what I mean. (CCP's site features Jay Kubassek, and the RFS site features Ty Coughlin has eliminated that variable that handicaps the newbie marketer). The autoresponder messages itself are sent out which give an appearance that you are dealing with "Jay" or "Ty" who have a major success story.

This ingenious idea is the reason that uncountable amount of new marketers in Carbon Copy Pro have experienced their first sale within the first 5 weeks of CCP being on the market.

So, in this particular area, I'd have to give both systems an A+.

If you are not familiar with that term, let me explain.

When a person visits a Carbon Copy Pro site or a Reverse Funnel site, they are given some "teaser" information for free.

To gain access to more info, the visitor must pay a small fee - $49 for CCPro and $50 for the Reverse Funnel.

(CCP takes this one step further and actually gives the visitor a valuable product -- a training CD by industry marketing master Mike Dillard. Along with this unlike RFS, CCP offers a triple money back guarantee. with that said, it is obvious CCP is very confidence in their system and end products).

The beauty of a funded proposal is that it helps raise "funds" for the marketer, even when a sale is not produced. These funds can then be put back into advertising the site, generating more leads for the marketer's business.

This type of system can help keep a marketer in business ( ie: keeps him from running out of money ;-) while his marketing "funnel" is being filled with qualified prospects.

Automated System means you can work from anywhere and have your business on Auto-Pilot.

When someone visits either of these websites and "opts-in", they will then begin receiving a series of pre-written messages. In the Carbon Copy System, the messages come from "Jay". In the Reverse Funnel System, the messages come from "Ty".

In fact, with Carbon Copy Pro, there is a team that calls your visitors for you when the prospect completes the "funded proposal" step and fill out an application (see "funded proposal", above).

With the RFS, after someone completes an application they will begin receiving automated phone messages from Ty inviting them to "Coffee Calls" and "Take off to Success" calls.

Personally I feel that the RFS's automated calls are NOT as effective as the real phone calls that come with the Carbon Copy Pro system. Most people will put down the phone immediately the moment they hear a prerecorded message calling them.

Carbon Copy's system gives the prospect the opportunity to get questions answered by top qualified closers who are currently creating a multiple six figure income with CCP. Carbon Copy will attempt to "close" the sale, thus eliminating the need for individual consultants to become "master salesmen" and will continue to follow up on your prospects.

Since the RFS never contacts a prospect directly, the CCP system is the better choice in this category and the ideal system of automated marketing without the need to become a master salesman to achieve success.

However, the CCP system has had so many applicants in such a short period of time that it has had difficulty keeping up with the sudden growth, and many prospects don't receive their call backs in a timely manner.

This means that serious prospects will often contact the referring associate directly. So, the people who end up making the most money in the RFS or CCP are the ones who develop the skills required to talk with their prospects directly.

Regardless, I have personally experienced sales coming through my system without ever speaking to the prospect and my team members have too.

I have to give a Carbon Copy Pro an A+ while a B rating for RFS for this category.

Though the marketing systems are somewhat similar in that they propose to give you a "hands-off" way to market, the products they offer are vastly different.

The company being marketed by Carbon Copy Pro is WMI, a financial education and solutions company whose motto is "Creating Success and Wealth in others one person at a time".

WMI has a vision to not only teach you how to create wealth -- but also how to KEEP it and grow it once you make it!

This Houston, TX based company is in the process of becoming a publicly traded company, and is issuing stock options to members. Nice touch.

WMI has an extremely strong product offering that is needed by many people in our current fiscal environment. The fact that this company was started by a former Wall Street Investment Bank VP is evident since WMI operates like a fine tuned money machine.

On the other hand, the Reverse Funnel System is the marketing arm for (GRN) Global Resorts Network, which targets the travel market. Its product is resort vacation memberships without the annual maintenance fees that are associated with time shares. Now as attractive as this may sound, and vacationing may be very appealing to many, but for the price to get involved at $3000 dollars was just something I personally had a hard time swallowing. There are two reasons for my feelings behind this:

For one, you can get FREE vacation vouchers almost anywhere to top high demand resorts if you take the time to search them out, which also practically includes all the bells and whistles that GRN is offering on a product stand point, and without needing to cough up with a heavy $3000 dollars. So you decide pay $3000 dollars plus pay the fees that are associated with booking the vacation to the resort of your choice "OR" pay NOTHING and get FREE resort vacation vouchers, and then just pay the minimum booking charges to the resort of your choice? I think the answer here is quite obvious unless you are trying to look at this on a business stand point.

The 2nd problem associated with the Reverse Funnel System concept was, it's a limited market-you can only market to people who are looking for vacations- why limit yourself when the market place is much bigger! The concept of having a business that tailors to vacationing may sound very appealing, but the reality of it is, most people who join the Reverse Funnel System are looking to make money so the focus is, getting people in on the concept of vacationing and then sharing the same concept with others, and that they too will make money by doing the same. So I guess the real question is, when does the concept become a reality?

When you start making money perhaps?

Now are there people making money with the Reverse Funnel System? ABSOLUTELY! But the ones really making the money are the people who know how to market and in many cases have a good advertising budget and this is something we will cover later in my lens.

While both systems are really pretty slick, as far as the "back office" goes -- the RFS has an "additional feature".

For one thing, setting up an ad campaign in the RFS is a matter of naming a campaign, and the system returns the link that you should use.

For the Carbon Copy pro system, it was obviously written for the more technical user. It is left up to the user to construct their own links by placing this at the end of your URL link "?t=". Now, this is not difficult once you learn it, but it does add a small layer of complexity for the newbie. But here is a quick example how easy it is actually done with Carbon Copy Pro.

Now let's say you are going to place an ad with a company by the name "XYZ", basically what you will do is just ad this code to the end of your URL: ?t=XYZ

Like for example my URL link is:

www.YourSixFigureMentor.com

Here is how I would add the tracking:

www.YourSixFigureMentor.com?t=XYZ

Now every time you generate a lead from that particular ad, that is what will appear in your back office, so now you know where your money is performing best for you or where you are throwing it away when it boils down to online advertising.

Anyways both systems do provide in-depth training on how to use these links.

And, hopefully, no one coming into online marketing is really of the delusion that they don't have to DO anything.

Of COURSE, as an online marketer you have to learn marketing, and managing links in part of online marketing -- especially if you want to be successful. One of the most important aspects about marketing is TRACKING!

Both Carbon Copy Pro and Reverse Funnel System provides detailed tracking info for each of your links, showing info such as the number of hits, number of opt-in, number of paid leads, percentages, etc. This info makes it very easy to see which of your advertising media is the most profitable, so you know where you concentrate your efforts.

And, the Reverse Funnel System's back office makes it easy for you to send broadcast emails to your lead (this feature is missing from CCP). AND, it provides a place for adding notes about your lead. Now on the other side of the coin is, if you have your own autoresponder Aweber account, then you are now in control of your own leads and you may send broadcast messages at anytime with CCP and this is what you want to do anyways. The last thing you want to do is have the company keep your leads in their database without the means to import them out later. You spent good advertising dollars and you put time into generating those leads, so don't let the company have them!

Anyway I have to say that the "Star" for just a tad bit ease of use goes to RFS. BUT, the Reverse Funnel Systems' back-office comes with a price!

The RFS costs twice as much per month as CCPRO. That's right... TWICE as much.

Plus, Carbon Copy Pro is an affiliate program, meaning that once you sign-up 5 members to use the site, the system is free for you.

The good part of all of this is that the previously discussed funded proposal will cover these costs and some for anyone willing to market the system heavily.

The RFS claims to have created the first home based business franchise.

(CCP says that is it "Like a Franchise", but "we are NOT a franchise." )

Since I really don't understand the big difference here...for the sake of this lens, I'll just consider "like a franchise" to be a franchise, O.K.?

Well, one sign of a franchise is the exact same training given to ANY new franchise owner.

In my opinion, Carbon Copy Pro comes closest to delivering on the promise of delivering the EXACT same training to all members.

Both systems have a new member system setup call once a week. Carbon Copy Pro's call is done via Webinar -- And, I don't think I have to explain to you the difference between TELLING someone something and actually SHOWING it to them.

Same thing with the advertising call.

With the RFS, Don Glanville verbally steps new members through the vast database of ad vendors and encourages them to place their first several ads.

Again, Carbon Copy Pro does it via webinar, so new members can actually see new ads being created. Plus, the calls go through the strategy of how to create a successful ad.

From the trainings, you can tell that Ty & Don really have a heart to help the new members succeed, and tell them flat-out that they ultimately need to learn to create their own leads. While this is true, it can be a bit overwhelming for the newbie to just be told to "place three ads per day" without any real guidance on how to write the ad.

Because the RFS is weak in the area of advertising training, some teams have taken things into their own hands, and have put together their own training sites

On the other hand, the Carbon Copy Pro system offers an in-depth "generating Leads" section that is available to EVERYONE using the system.

This section has detailed training on:

-- PPC
-- Ezine Advertising
-- Solo Ad placement

There is even some of Jay's EXACT "Sale a Day" ad copy.

CCP even brings in people like "The Urban Cowgirl" to give in-depth trainings on how to market and generate your own leads.

One very strange thing though... while CCP is the hands-down winner in overall marketing training, the RFS has extremely easy to use, cut and paste banner code. These banners are hosted on the RFS server, so they are extremely easy to use and can be quickly inserted into all sorts of sites.

The CCP system does have banner ads available, but they are most DEFINITELY not "cut and paste" style. Since they've covered all the other bases for advertising, I'm not sure why CCP has dropped the ball in this area.

But overall, Carbon Copy Pro gets 5 stars for marketing training. I'd give the generic RFS system about 2-3 stars in this area.

The advent of these two systems has eliminated the one thing that has made it so difficult for new marketers to compete online -- having a "success story". Newbie's can now simply borrow the success of a recognized industry leader -- while they are working to create a success story of their own!
