Cardiff-by-the-Sea Real Estate

Cardiff-by-the-Sea, is a community within the city of Encinitas. It is located 95 miles south of Los Angeles and 25 miles north of San Diego.

Cardiff by the Sea was named by developer J. Frank Cullen in honor of his wife's home in Wales. Cardiff by the Sea is a very "walkable" town. Check out Restaurant Row for beach side dining with many different cuisines. Use the San Elijo San Elijo State Beach Campground services. Other recreational areas include Glen Park, Cardiff Sports Park and Cardiff Reef on Highway 101. Surfing is a major player, of course.
