Who is Casey Anthony?
Who is Casey Anthony? Does she fit the profile of a killer? Casey Marie Anthony, was born March 19, 1986 in Warren Ohio to parents Cindy and George Anthony. Casey's daughter, Caylee was born on August 9th, 2005 in Orlando Florida. Casey was indicted by a grand jury on October 14, 2008 on the charges of First Degree Murder in the case of missing Caylee. Investigators believe that Casey is the only one who could know what happened to Caylee, who was found less than a half mile from the Anthony home in December of 2008.There is many sources of suspicion against Casey anthony, from the time that she partied in nightclubs for an entire month during the disssapearance of Caylee, to the incriminating staetements left on her myspace page, incriminating internat searches from the Anthony home on methods of death, and the Casey Anthony taped interviews, where she was caught lying to investigators about Caylee.
Police were told a story that the tot was taken by the babysitter, Zannie, [Zonida Gonzolez]. Why a mother would let an entire month pass by before she decided to report her own daughter missing, has been something that has puzzled a lot of people.
Cindy and George Anthony, In defense of their daughter
Cindy Anthony, Mother of Casey, has tired to help her daughter and come to her defense. In the summer of 2008, Cindy Anthony called 911 to report her Grandchild Caylee who was missing, after she interrogated Casey on the whereabouts of her daughter.During that taped 911 conversation she was clearly upset and she told the authorities that Casey's car trunk 'smelled like there was a dead body in it'. In the first few months of the case, the grandparents were told by police to stop fighting them and to co-operate.
In her interview with investigators on August 1st, the police spoke to Cindy for four hours, in which she kept changing her story. Cindy had told a completely different story about where Casey had been within the first week of Caylee's disappearance.
The story that Cindy told police about Caylee, was totally different than the one which was told to police by Casey, describing the events of what happened during the week of Caylee's disappearance.
According to Casey, during the time of her daughter's disappearance, she was working at the Hard Rock Hotel near Universal Studios, and the night that Caylee disappeared, the babysitter Zonida Gonzolez [[Zanny], whom Casey claimed kidnapped little Caylee, had a car accident on the way home.
George Anthony, the grandfather of Caylee, was also interviewed by the police over the disappearance of the tot. George Anthony is a retired law enforcement officer. On August 29, 2008 He was in an altercation outside of the Anthony home when the protesters showed up at their door.
George Anthony got upset that day because two protesters had set up a tent and were camping out in front of their house. He came out and started throwing the protesters chars, and yelling at them. The people were gathered outside of the Anthony home in hopes that Casey would be sent back to jail.
"We're just here to watch her be arrested," one protestor said.
George Anthony spent thanksgiving day driving around winter park and Orlando downtown, by himself, towing a giant "Where is Caylee" billboard.
Video: Cindy Anthony's police interview
Actual video footage of Cindy Anthony's police interview. In this interview she tries to tell police that the story of Zanny the nanny was a way for Casey to cover up what really happened to little Caylee. The police reveal to Cindy that there was no such person named Casey who worked at universal, and also that Casey had given the police a fake email address for the nanny, and that the person that Casey identified as the kidnapper [Zanny] had moved away from the apartments five months ago.

The Casey Anthony Timeline
A complete list of Events in the Casey Anthony Case
On June 1st, Anthony Lazzaro told police that the last time that he saw Caylee was at George and Cindy Anthony's house. Lazzaro was watching Casey swim in the family pool that day. Later that week on June 9th, Casey had allegedly dropped Caylee off at the nanny's apartment, and she claimed that the nanny was a woman named Zenaida Hernandez-Gonzalez who lived at the Sawgrass apartment complex off Conway Rd. in OrlandoThat same week, Casey hadn moved out of her parents house and she moved in with her ex-boyfriend Ricardo Morales, and his friend Amy Huizenga. Casey had told her parents that week that she was having the babysitter, Zanny, watch Caylee so that she could go on a buisness trip for Universal Studios.
In the week of June 12, the family and friends of Casey claim that they spotted Caylee at a spot that was near the orange and seminole county line. According to them, Caylee was wearing a blue and pink outfit, and sunglasses with a white rim.
Other people also claim to have seen Caylee and Casey that week, like the DJ at the local club who allegedly had seen them at Lazarro's apartment that week, and Christine Chester, a friend of Casey's that said she had went out on a walk with Casey and Caylee during that week.
There is also a record of Casey's activities on myspace during the week of jume 14th, [since been deleted]. Casey had left a message on her ex's myspace. The message, time-stamped 8:05 a.m., read, "You're absolutely my favorite." We do not know if Anthony, her ex had seen those messages or if he had replied to them.
On the week of June 15 Casey and Caylee had visited their grandfather at an assisted living facility. There was a video that was released on the internet showing this sighting

Timeline: What happened to Caylee in the last week of June?
On the week of June 15, Cindy and Caylee allegedly spent time swimming in the Anthony's family pool. Cindy said during her interviews that she had taken away the ladder from the pool, and made sure that the gate had been closed. In later interviews, the Anthony's admitted that they had seen the gate open at the poolside on that week of the 15th, and that the ladder was next to the pool, changing their story. The next day, on the 15th, George Anthony claims that he saw Casey and Caylee leave the house with backpacks on their shoulders that afternoon.Later on, around 2pm, George Anthony had left for work. Between 3 and 7pm that day, Casey made numerous calls on her cellphone, just a few brief calls which were from a few seconds to less than a minute, to her parents and several friends. During that same week, the person that Casey accused of kidnapping Caylee, Zenaida, had filled out a card at the Sawgrass apartments. The card was signed, Zenaida Hernandez-Gonzalez. The police believe that Casey had gotten the name for the babysitter, and the story of where she lived from this card that was found at the apartments.
Casey had also spent time on the internet that week talking to friends, and she wrote to a person named Amy, on a social networking site. The message reads: "Cheer up me lady! I love you and can't wait to finally get you moved in." Did casey have plans to move in with her friend from the internet?
On June 18th, Casey had allegedly borrowed a shovel from a neighbors house, Later on that day she was seen backing up her car into her parent's garage. On June 20, and the 21st people at some local nightclubs had seen Casey Anthony there, partying over the weekend.
On the week of June 24th, Casey's Ex-fiance called her that afternoon to tell her that he had resigned from the Orlando police department. He told investigators that he had heard Casey yell at Caylee in the background, for climbing onto a table, and that he heard Caylee's voice in the background. In a later interview he admitted that he was not certain if he had heard Caylee's voice in the background or not.
That week, George Anthony had called the Orange County Sherrifs, to report that someone had broken into his garage shed, and had stolen 2 gas cans, with at least 50$ worth of gas in them. You can read this Police report by George Anthony in this link that opens in a new window George Anthony Police Report, June 24th.
Later on that day, Casey had returned to her parents house to pick up some clothes and a few other items. George looked into Casey Anthony's car trunk and he found the missing gas cans. Casey anthony was without a job at the time and she most likely was broke and needed gass for her car, and unfortunately she would steal from her own parents to get it.
During the month of June, casey had also gotten a tattoo in honor of Caylee, a tatoo that said, "Bella Vida", an italian phrase meaning "Beautiful Life". This was a memorial tattoo, and for a mother that claimed to believe that Caylee was still alive, it seemed strange for her to do soemthing that some people would do for those who are dead - like getting a memorial tattoo.
By June 27th, Casey had abandoned her car at the parking lot of an Amscot store in downtown orlando. By June 30th this car was towed from the Amscot, and her purse was found in the front seat, with a child's car seat in the back of the car. During the same day Casey claimed that she and her ex-fiancee. Jessee Grund, went to the beach. Jessee was told by casey that Caylee was with the nanny on that day.
Timeline: Casey anthony seen partying at local nightclub
But where was Caylee?
Casey anthony was also seen on july 4th partying at a local nightclub. Caylee is believed to have been missing since the last week of June, and Caylee was out with her friends partying and drinking and doing 'hot body contests' at the bars she went to.By the time july 15th came around a conversation between Cindy anthony and Casey's friend Amy Huizenga revealed that Casey had stolen 700$ worth of checks from Amy's car glovebox. Cindy wanted to talk with amy to find out where casey was, and amy told cindy that casey asked amy if she could borrow her car, and when it was returned on the 15th, amy discovered that the checks were missing.
Finally able to locate her daughter, cindy picks up casey at her location and places three frantic calls to 911, telling the authorities taht she wanted to have her daughter arrested for stealing money, and a car.
Earlier in june casey had stolen her mother's credit card when she moved out of the house to be with her ex, and casey had run up a bill worth thousands of dollars. Cindy must have been furious as well when casey couldnt tell her where little caylee was, so. Cindy told the 911 dispachers that her granddaughter was missing. During that conversation when cindy handed the phone to Casey to tell the police what happened, Casey is heard saying in the background "I have noting to tell them".

Here is a clip of the raw audio of Cindy Anthonys desperate call to 911 to report Caylee missing. You will clearly hear Casey in the background say " I don't have anything to talk to them. " when Cindy tries to hand the phone to Casey when the operator asks to speak with her. This is the 911 call released to public on 7/24/08. Timeline: Casey's Web of Lies
Interrogation of Casey Anthony
During the third 911 call that day, Cindy tells the dispatcher: "There is something wrong. I found my daughter's car today [and] it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."By June 16th investigators had discovered that Casey had been lying about where she worked, she did not have a job at universal studios. Casey had been charged with child neglect by the police on that day. It was all they could do since they could not prove that Zanny the nanny had taken little caylee. Casey was also charged with making false statements to the police, and she was also charged with obstruction of the investigation.
Corporal Yuri Melich of the Orange County sherrifs department, wrote in the arrest affidavit: "Based on the repetitive lies that the defendant has told, we do not know with whom the child is or even if the child is alive, [also] it should be noted that at no time during any of the above interviews did the defendant show any obvious emotion as to the loss of her child." You can read the Casey Anthony Arrest Affidavit for july 16th, online.
The police began to investigate the leads that casey had revealed to them. The police got casey's car from the impound yard [where the workers claimed that it smelled awful]. The police located and questioned the woman named Zenaida Gonzalez, who claimed that she had never met casey anthony or caylee. No one in her family had ever met casey either.
Casey was behind bars and she was able to call her family and to talk with Cindy, and her brother Lee, and one of her friends named Kristina. During the taped jailhouse interview, Casey uses excessive profanity and becomes angry about what cindy had revealed to the media. She didnt want Cindy involved with the case and she told her mother to stay out of it, while cindy pleaded with casey to tell her where little caylee was. On July 17th Casey had her appearance in court. The judge denied her bond and during the trial, he said that the mother Casey anthony had a "woeful disregard for the welfare of her child."
That day, the sherrifs office searched the car that casey had been driving and they bagged some items for evidence. They found dirt, and samples of hair which the police believed was the same color as caylees. They tested the carpet in the trunk for signs of decomposition, and not only did a cadaver dog mark the same spot that they identified, after they tested the spot in the trunk it turned up positive for human decomposition.
Casey Anthony had an attoruey by this time and on July 21 Casey's attorney sent a letter to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, stating that they were willing to "cooperate fully" with law enforcement.
People were gathering outside of the Anthony Home on Hopespring drive in orlando, holding vigils and some with signs of protest, claiming that the mother Casey was a 'baby killer'. A charity foundation known as the Never Loose Hope foundation donated office space for volunteers to coordinate a search effort to find Caylee. Local buisness owners also offered a combined reward of 125, 000$, set to expire within 90 days, for whoever could locate where caylee anthony could be.

The attending judge, Judge Strickland, set casey's bail at $500,00. He said that casey had no regard for the wherabouts of her child. According to Strickland,
"Not a bit of useful information has been provided by Ms. Anthony as to the whereabouts of her daughter," Strickland had said. "And I would add that the truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers." On July 23rd, a recording was made by the Never Loose Hope foundation together with George Anthony. This recording was broadcast into thousands of homes in the local florida area, through telephone calls, all in an effort to find little 3yr old caylee marie anthony. The next day, Cindy anthony told the police that caylee had been seen in georgia with soeone who was headed towards charlotte north carolina. Police followed this lead but it eventually lead to nowhere, there was no evidence to substantiate the claim.

Casey claimed to know where little caylee was. During that time, casey had recieved a visit from a person named Patrick Bourgeois, who had claimed to have attended the same high school as casey. Casey had a lot of trouble remembering who this person was during the visit, which lasted only a few minutes. That same day, casey's parents george and cindy visited with casey at the orange county jail.
On July 26th casey phones her brother from jail, and during that conversation she revealed that she thought that caylee was still OK. "That's still my best feeling at the moment," she said. "If that changes, then obviously I'm going to reach out and say something immediately, but I know mom will understand this more than anyone that there's that bond type of bond that you have with your kid and it's.. it's unexplainable."
The very next day casey agreed to cooperate with the FBI to make a composite sketch of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. "She's [Casey] been wanting to cooperate with authorities; she just doesn't trust the local authorities. She would be willing to speak with the FBI," Cindy Anthony had said to the media. Later on that night there was a gathering of 200 people who attended a candlelight vigil at the Anthony home ho honor little Caylee.

Casey's attorney files a protective order
July 28th, 2008
Caseys attorney, Jose Baiez, field a motion for a protective order to prevent the authorities from releasing any further videos or audio recordings of casey with her family while she is in jail On July 29th this protective order was denied by Judge Stan Strickland, citing the First Amendment.A former cellmate of Casey came forward that week with new information about the case. Orange County inmate Travis Nichols, 20 told the investigators taht Casey told him that caylee was with one of her ex-boyfriends. The sherrifs office investigated this claim but it remained unsubstantiated due to the source of the infomration.
The very next day, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum issued a written response to the appeal by attorney Baez which was filed on July 24th. McCollum concluded that Baez, "failed to show that such action by the trial court was arbitrary, fanciful, or unreasonable." Casey's protection from her lawyer was further denied, but the public had the right to know about the details of the case in order to help others possibly find Caylee who had been missing for almost two months.
The Fifh District Court of Appeals also agreed with the Attorney General McCollum, and they also denied Baez' request without giving a comment. Reports begin to surface that the FBI was going to take over the case.
Later that same day, Casey had called her brother and she told him that nothing had changed. Cayse said to Lee, "Um. I guess understandably just being out of contact. But um. I mean as far as I'm concerned nothing's really changed." The phone call that day ended suddenly when the phone connection was lost.
In an effort to try and understand the psyche of casey anthony the group Investigation Discovery enlisted the help of Dr. Deborah Shurman-Kauflin, a high profile criminal
profiler who had over 20 years of experience in profiling serial murderers and those who committed aberant sex crimes. According to Dr. Schurman-Kauflin, Casey Anthony is a "dark damsel" who is seemingly ignoring the disappearance of her 2-year-old child, Caylee Anthony.
"The hallmark of a good predator is that she constantly tells lies. If you clutter the truth with enough of what's false, no one can tell what is real," Dr. Schurman-Kauflin said. "This is why the female offender keeps everyone guessing with deception. Keep people chasing their tails, and they don't have the time to fight you. You will often find female offenders are remarkably good at making people do what they want. They are especially skilled at manipulating men. Women know there is more than one way to make a man wild. She can seduce him. She can lead him in circles. When that fails, she can kill. Seduce-circle-kill."
Timeline: The Anthony Investigation
The Media leaks reports; rumors abound
Casey calls her brother and they briefly discuss a mysterious letter she is supposedly writing. Unfortunately, they are unable to go into much detail, as the connection lost again.Meanwhile, Casey requests that only her immediate family be allowed to visit her at the jail.On August first, the investigators visited George and Cindy anthony's home, and it was a very brief visit. The investigators left about five minutes later with two large paper bags in their hands.
Casey's attorney, Baez told the media that he was angy with the Orange Co. Sherrifs office because of the involvementof Deputy Carlos Padilla's statement on the Nancy Grace show. In Padilla's statement he said that Baez was seeking immunity for Casey anthony. "The police have just leaked one thing after another," Baez said. "I don't know. Carlos Padilla wasn't there."
Hoever, by August 4th the media was reporting that the prosecuters of the Anthony case had indeed offered immunity to Casey, in hopes that Casey would reveal the whereabouts of missing Caylee. This report produced by the media turned out to be false, according to a comment made by State Attourney's office spokesperson, Randy Means.
By this time it was confirmed that the DNA that was found in the trunk of the mother's car was that of caylee anthony. By August 5th, Casey had been charged with child neglect and check fraud, after she had went on a shopping spree with her friend Amy Huizenga's personal checks.
A few days later, the police returned with a new search warrant, and this time they had foresnic investigators with them. Tehy removed several articles of clothing from Casey's room. In the Anthony Search Warrant on August 4th, Cindy claims that she had found clothing in Casey's car and she had removed them and washed them "due to the fact that they smelled like the car," according to the report.
There was a man named Jesus Ortis, who some had suspected was the father of Caylee, and when he was approached with this information he held a press conference with his lawyer, Brian Crews. Within this press conference Brian stated that the Ortiz family never knew or had even heard of Casey Anthony. Casey had lied about many things, like the places where she worked at and even the people that she claimed to have known.
On the same day, George anthony finally admits that it was Casey who had stolen the gas cans from his garage back in late July. Durig this time, Cindy Anthony had been receiving deatht threats through phone calls and emails, escalating the situation into something that the anthony's never expected.
Timeline: The investigation Continues
Searches, and phone records
That same wee, the Orange county sherrifs department made plans to search in a lake near the anthony home. The orang eco. sherrifs were tight-lipped about their activities and they claimed that the dive in the lake near the anthony home had nothing to do with the case. [There is] "Nothing has led us to believe [Caylee] would be in the water," Deputy Carlos Padilla said in an Orlando Sentinel interview. It was also revealed that the investigators had gone through Casey's cellphone records since the time of the dissapearance of Caylee. No record of any calls to a nanny named Zanny were ever found on her cellphone. There was not one single shred of evidence that Casey had ever communicated with anyone named Zenaida Hernandez-Gonzalez.
Still in jail, by august 8th Casey was being extremely uncooperative, and she denied her brother a vistit at the jail that he had scheduled. That same day, Casey's attorney had filed a second motion to get her bond lowered. Some of the people believe at this point that Caylee had an accident, a drowning in the swimming pool at the Anthony home.
Friends, strangers and supporters of the Anthony family gathered outside of the home for a candlelight vigil for Caylee Marie Anthony. "Your prayers and support means more than you can even imagine," George had said. "Thank you for giving me some strength." The small crowd that had gathered shared the same belief that the Anthony's were clinging too - they wanted to find little Caylee alive.
Casey anthony was clearly upset and being very uncooperative. By August 9th, it was little Caylee's birthday. Casey had refused a scheduled visitation with her parents on the next day. The next day, there was a second motion denying the lowering of Casey's bond. Knowing that Casey was being un-cooperative, Lee anthony canceled his scheduled visit with Casey at the jail that same day. The anthony family persistently told the media tthat they believed that Caylee was alive and that she had been kidnapped.
By the time august 14th comes around, Casey finally agrees to a visitation by her parents. Case;s attorney filed a subpoeana to get information about the dogs that had hit on the smell of death in Casey's car. The Orange Co. sherrif's office told the media that they would be withholding all of the future videos from jail visitations, "due to a criminal investigative exemption."
With the intense media attention it was only a matter of time before companies would be seekign rights to the Anthony Case. They were approached by SilverCreek Entertainment, a prodcution company, and they accepted Larry Garrison, president as their official spokesperson.
Timeline: Casey Gets Bonded out of Jail
Leonard Padilla enters the case
On August 17, a ray of hope shone into Casey's life. A man named Leonard Padilla, one of the most famous bounty hunters and bail bonsman from Sacrament, Ca. arrived in florida to pay the $500,000 bail for Casey Anthony. It was his belief, as he expressed to the media, that he was there to be in the spotlight, but also he was certian that little Caylee would not be found without the cooperation of Casey, and she might have some clues as to where Caylee might be. By August 20th Casey's bond is finally posted. When she was released from jail the next day, it was a media frenzy. She arrived at the anthony home, to crowds of people shouting at her.
A week later, In a suprising twist in the case, Deputy Anthony Rusciano was fired after it was discovered that he had lied about having relations with Casey. The next day, it was revealed by the University of Tennessee forensic lab that the air samples that were taken from Casey's car showed signs of decomposition. The hair sample that they found suggested that Caylee had already died.
It was only a matter of time before the situation outside of the Anthony home escalated. There were many who were curious, there were people who were mad at Casey. There were also people who believed that George and Cindy Anthony were hiding something, or trying to cover up for what their daugter [supposedly] did.
Ina media frenzy a Florida band named BiteBoy showed up at the Anthony home with a rented trailer. They began playing a song that they wrote about Casey Anthony. titled "Casey's Song - Wine Sick Mind". Before the band could finish the song, Padilla showed up on the scene and had a confrontation with the BiteBoy Band, making them stop. He said that he wanted to put a stop to it because he felt sorry for Casey's parents. Video is below.

Timeline: More testing revealed
Was Caylee no longer with us?
By late august it was revealed that the DNA tests proved that the car that Casey anthony had been driving, tested positive for signs of death. The official release was that 3-yr old Caylee had passed away. They were no longer looking for her hoping that she would be alive, but there were many who refused to give up the search. There were thousands of volunteers who were looking for Caylee wether she was alive or not.On Aug. 29th Casey was sent back to jail after she had been arrested on three new charges, uttering a forged instrument, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft. The Bail agents revoked her bond, and Leonard Padilla was close to giving up the case. He was frustrated with the non compliance by Casey, she was not co-operative. Padilla waivered and then decided to not offer another bond to get her out of jail on these recent charges.
By early September, only a handful of people had shown up to search for Caylee. Cindy Anthony alwasy held on hope that they would find Caylee alive. Padilla,s till involved with the case spoke on CNN, and he suggested that something very revealing would be brought to light in the case in the comming weeks. "When the FBI, who has got some of the finest labs in the world, comes back, it is going to shock the world over something Lee, Casey and Cindy have known since Wednesday when they released their preliminary findings," Padilla said. "And also, the Dumpster located a mile and quarter away from the boyfriend Tony's home is going to play a big part in this."
By this time the charges against Casey were being added up. She was charged with six additional counts, including two counts each of fraudulent use of personal identification, uttering a forged check and petty theft. Casey had went on a shopping spree at several locations around orlando. She had visited a Target Store in Winter Park, using her friend Amy's stolen checks.
Casey bought 138$ worth of clothes, including bras, jeans several shirts and the famous blue hooded sweatshirt with the No.82 that she was wearing the first time she was arrested for child neglect, and the large pair of white sunglasses that people had seen her wear. She bought a case of beer, and cashed personal checks of Amy's. She spent over 700$ worth of fraudulent checks during the week of Caylee's dissapearance. According to Amy Huzeinga, Casey had violated her trust before by hacking into her email accounts repeatedly. Of course this isnt the first time that Casey had went on a shopping spree with someone elses money. Back in may-june she had racked up a nearly 40K bill on her mother's credit card.
On September 7th, things had almost reached a breaking point when George anthony confronted protestors outside of his house. He pushed an older woman and a young man who were protesting in his driveway. David Lohr from the production company located these two people who agreed to talk about their experiences with him.

Mounting evidence against Casey
Lee anthony also had confronted the media and the protesters that gathered outside of the Anthony home. On September 10th, Lee Anthony grabbed at a protester's signa and tried to destroy it. The protester was a woman with her dog, who was in front of the Anthony's driveway, with a sign that read in huge letters: "I wouldnt let my dog go missing for a month"In order to move the case on, the Orange Co. Sherrifs agreed to release the audio recordings of their first interviews with Casey Anthony. The investigators also released the copies of the documenst of the case against Anthony to the public. The Anthony family was still not cooperating, and they had allegedly refused to take a polygraph lie detector test
By september 15th Casey had turned herself in on the charges of check fraud,
fraudulent use of identification, and petty theft. The very next day she was released from prison on a 1,250$ bond.
Because Casey was in and out of jail, there were many who felt that she belonged in jail especially because of the mounting evidence and the lack of truth from Casey Anthony. Protestors gathered outside of the home on september 18th, banging on their garage door and shouting messages of hate, and Casey's guilt. The protestors started throwing coins and stones at the Snthony house. Casey got on the phone with 911, and Goerge and Cindy went outside to confront those people.
The numerous confrontations lead the Orange Co. sherrifs to set a curfew for the Anthony neighborhood. That same day, a former friend of Casey's, named Ryan Paysley did an interview and in this he stated that, "Knowing Casey, I would say that it was an accident,"
By the end of the month the Orange Osceola State Attorney's Office released 591 pages of the evidence in the Anthony case. Among this evidence was a computer report from Casey's house, where she had been searching items like "neckbreaking" and chloroform", "death" from computer searches in March, and searches of missing children websites. They also had chat records from her computer showing how she was partying and hanging out with friends at Club Fusion in late july, after the dissaperance of Caylee.

There was an image that was saved on Casey's computer that looked like a little girl, looking up at a teddy bear with a noose around its neck, the caption read: "Why do people kill people, who kill people, to show people that to kill people is bad?" You can read the official forensic computer report from Casey anthony's computer here.
The woman's reputation taht was ruined in all of this was Zenida gonzoles, who hired an attoreny to represent her in the case of defamation of character.People were printing t-shirts reading "The Nanny Did It" and "Zanny the Nanny" and Zenida had never had any relations with Casey Anthony.
"What we want to make sure is that Casey Anthony does not profit for throwing Zenaida Gonzalez under the bus. They are out there talking about movie deals, book deals. There are t-shirts being sold," attorney John Morgan told the media. Zenaida had been fired from her job because the employer didn't want the publicity.
By the time October came around, Jose Baes entered a not guilty plea to the check fraud charges against Casey. She was scheduled for arrainmnet later on that month. The Orange Co. Sherrifs upgraded Anthony's status from being a person of suspicion, to being the prime suspect in the dissapearance of Caylee.
George and Cindy Anthony and the Protesters
George and Cindy Anthony, grandparents of Caylee Marie Anthony, the 3 year old missing Orlando, Florida child clashing with protesters. George and Cindy have had a love hate relationship with the media. Above all George wanted to find Caylee alive, and some of the people who gathered at the Anthony home were either curious or angry about the events.

Timeline:The Case against Casey
Grand Jury indictment
The florida state atoorneys office planned to present the case to a grand jury on October 14th. If her case were to be accepted by a grand jury trial they would have to determine if the evidence would prove, or disprove the mother's involvement in the tot's dissapearance. The police and investigators reviewed the tapes of Casey spending stolen checks at local stores, and they also reviewed the evidence of her cashing a personal check at the bank of america.By October 8th the prosecuters determined that they had enough evidence to ask a grand jury to indict Casey Anthony. According to this evidence they would prove that caylee's body had been kept in the trunk of Case'ys car and also had spent time in the Anthony's family home backyard.
The investigators believe that Caylee could have been murdered around late June, from the 16th to the 18th. During these days Casey had lived her normal life traveling to and from her parent's and boyfriend's house.
By October 14th the Grand jury had passed a seven-count indictment against Casey Anthony, mother of missing two-year-old, Caylee Anthony. On the nest day, Casey made her appearance in court, on charges that she had murdered her daughter. Casey had barely spoken a word during the hearing which lasted only a few minutes. The judge read the charges against her and he ordered that Casey should be held without bond.
The same day Cindy anthony made an apperance on NBC's Today show. She still believed in the innocence of her daughter and she still had hope that caylee would be found alive. "I know my daughter. I know my daughter's relationship with Caylee and I know that there's nothing in this world that could make me think Casey did anything to Caylee. There's never been any child neglect, child abuse or anything. This young lady loves her child more than I love Casey. I'll tell you that right now. And my love for Casey is stronger every day. My love for my granddaughter is stronger every day and I know Caylee is alive. There's a lot of people out there who have seen Caylee."
By the end of October, 2008 Casey had been arranged on the charges of First degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators. Anthony had entered a not guilty plea so she was not required to be present during the reading of her own charges. If she is found to be guilty she would be sent to prision for the rest of her life without the possibility of parolle, or even the death penalty.
Timeline: The Search for Caylee goes on
Finally Discovered
When November came around people had still not given up in the search for Casey's daughter. Over 1,300 volunteers showed up at the search site to help find Caylee. Later on that week, 300 more volunteers showed up to search more areas where they thought that Caylee could be located.
They sent out ATV teams, boat teams equipped with sonar and they searched different waterways in the area for signs of the missing girl. The Tri-County chapter of BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) volunteered to help with crowd control and security
Leonard Padilla and his private dive team were also searching for the little girl, and on November 13th, his team of divers claimed that they had made a discovery in the murky waters of the Little Econ River. During the search, Padilla was recording parts of it on tape. The evidence was taken in for investigation but the police were doubtful that what the divers found that day had anything to do with Caylee.
By the end of November, the Anthony's personal attorney who represented Cindy and George, had resigned. Judge Strickland, the one who indicted Casey, made a ruling to prevent the prosecutors from releasing information that was related to the case.
By December 11th a telephone call made by a utility worker named Roy Kronk, lead investigators to search the wooded area that was less than a mile from the Anthony home. Remains were found there, along with clothing and other evidence that they used to positively identify the remains as Caylee.
One Tree Hill
Some say that Casey got her idea for the babysitter taking her baby from the tv show, One Tree Hill, the 100th episode. Turns out she had searched for the 100th episode of that show in March, before the time before Caylee disapeared, and if the prosecution uses this as evidence it could be seen as pre-meditation to murder. The 100th episode of One Tree Hill was based on a toddler who was taken by the babysitter and never found.

Casey Anthony Myspace Messages
On July 4th: Casey Anthony Myspace Page MessagesSubject: My Caylee is missing
Current mood: Distraught
"She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don't know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother's love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?"

This photo was taken the weekend of June 21, 2008, during the same week of Caylee's dissapearance. How could Casey Anthony go out and party during the same week that Caylee had went missing?

July 7, Casey Anthony left this message on her Myspace Account: This message, was titled "Diary of Days,":
"On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken
Trust no one, only yourself.
With great power, comes great consequence.
What is given can be taken away.
Everyone Lies.
Everyone Dies."
