I Fart In Your General Direction!
Picking a favorite Monty Python scene is almost impossible! There are so many contenders for the top spot, whether you choose the infamous Dead Parrot Sketch from the Flying Circus television series, or the Blessed are the Cheesemakers from the Life Of Brian, the Holy Grail is bound to supply enough material on it's own to keep any Monty Python Fan in a dilemma.
If you were to choose a location for a pythoesque pilgrimage no better location than Castle Anthrax could be chosen. Doune Castle, near Stirling in Scotland was the location for the famous stand off between King Arthur and a solitary Frenchman in The Search for the Holy Grail.
The picturesque and remote castle recieves over 25,000 visitors a year and a third of these are claimed to be visiting due to connections with the film and to shout from the battlements "I fart in your genral direction" in a vaguely french accent at those below.

Tim Curry, of Rocky Horror fame, was nominated for a prestigous Tony award for his perfomance of this role on Broadway, he will play the role of King Arthur until January. Shakespearian actor Simon Russell Beale, will take over the role in January, currently he is playing the lead in the Broadway show.So with over a hundred dates already booked at the Palace Theatre, get your coconuts and grab a ticket for the show from Ticketmaster - Plenty still available, but best be organised and book in plenty of time.
