Casual Dress with Proper Appeal

It is said by some that they should never have allowed the introduction of "Casual Friday" or also known as "Dress Down Day". I disagree and will explain why.
"Casual Friday" may be casual but with a few pointers can be appealing to any customer base with the proper woven or knit shirt paired together with proper dress pants. Jeans are not considered proper dress pants!
Following we will discuss the proper shirts that can be worn and how proper embellisment can give your business the same professional look that a tie and coat does.

"Casual Friday" Properly dressed

Every business must evaluate there individual situation and should put into place a rule that specifies the proper wear for "Casual Friday". The options are many and with the many different ways to embellish your apparel looking professional for your customers is a definite possibility.

With the ever popular polo shirt being the leader in "Casual Friday" wear there is other options that are just as comfortable and still have that professional look.
A correctly embellished Oxford or twill shirt can offer the proper appearance for all businesses where a suit and tie are the normal apparel.

Each style mentioned can have that extra appeal to the customers eye with the proper embroidery. I do not recommend embroidering a persons name on an oxford or twill shirt as that will take away from professional appearance as well as draw from the properly embroidered logo on the left crest. Names embroidered on a polo is more fitting but still needs a proper sized logo on the left crest.

A companies logo should not exceed a 4" x 4" area on the left crest. As an additional appeal a small monogram could be added on the back of the neck area
just below the collar or just above the hem of a short sleeve polo or oxford
