Adopting my two kitten
Now I got a new task ahead...
I just adopted another little kitten - he should become a playmate for "Oreo". His name is "Charcol" and is 8 weeks old. For now my little babies don't like each other at all... but I also know that I just have to give them some time to get used to each other.
I know, in the first place it seems a very hard task, when you hear about training a cat. Believe me, it's not. On this site you can find a lot of advises how you can train your cat in easy little steps. All you need is a lot of love and patience...
Adoption No. 1I got my kitten Oreo with 4 weeks. He and his brother were found in a box on the street,... homeless, hungry, dirty and alone. I started to raise him with kitten milk and can food. He was a poor little guy who barely could walk and open his eyes. But within a few weeks he grew into a healthy, funny, lovely and smart kitten, which likes to run around and play with everything he can find. It is funny to watch and I enjoy it a lot to see him grow up that fast and being very playful. He was very smart, overactive and nosy from the beginning. So it was easy to catch his interest for something new. The more he got to do, the happier he feels...
Adoption No. 2This is Charcol, my new kitten. I wanted a playmate for my baby Oreo. Another kitten to play, cuddle and toll around with. I started looking on the internet and found the add on craigslist.org. His owner already had 5 cats and couldn't keep him. She was looking for a loving home with possible other cats in the house. Well,... today I went to her house and picked up my new baby. Here he is: 8 weeks old - Charcol
Even though they hated each other so much the first 3-4 days. I knew, soon or later - and with a little bit of patience - they would get used to each other and actually like each other. Well,... I was right. It was worth the waiting. It's so nice to see, how they play together, chasing each other, jumping up and down on the sofa and they even sleep together now! Whenever Charcol is not around him, he calls him. I'm so happy we got Charcol and Oreo is too...
