Who is John Thomas Grant?
While some people may view cemetery art as morbid, John sees history and life reflected in the headstones of a cemetery.
Realizing there are others who share his passion for these beautiful and restful sanctuaries, he has turned his photography into items to be shared and cherished by the taphophile community.
His gallery, located at Zazzle.com, can be accessed by clicking any item below.

Are you a cemetery photographer or genealogist?

You never know what sort of reception you will have when you are a volunteer headstone phhotographer.
Sometimes the staff at the cemtery office are more than happy to help you with a grave location, other times, they can act like you are from the IRS.
Before you visit a cemetery to fulfill a photo request or if you are a genealogist visiting a cemetery, check to see if someone has submitted a review.
Most of the time, the reviews are excellent, but wouldn't you like to know before you walked into a bad experience?
Most of the cemeteries having a review at this time are from the Harris County, Texas area but as more volunteer photographers submit their reviews, other counties and states will be added.
Why not submit a review for a cemetery you have photograped? Help out another photographer or genealogist. It's free and easy.
Just visit Cemetery and Funeral Home Reviews and fill out the form at the bottom and click submit. That's all there is to it and you 'll be helping others. Only your first name and the state where you live will be used when your review is posted.
