What is Chalean Extreme and Who teaches it?
Chalean Extreme is the newest exercise workout from Chalene Johnson and Beach Body. Chalene Johnson has also done the Turbo Jam and Turbo Jam Elite workouts with Beach Body, both of which are extremely popular and very effective. With the new Chelene Extreme workout she has taken it to the next level.This new workout is meant to creat muscle and create it fast. Why? It may not be why you think. Yes, muscle is attractive and everyone wants muscles, but more importantly the more muscle you have the faster you burn the fat off your body. Muscle burns fat. You can burn up to 60% more body fat and see results in just 30 days with the Chalene Extreme. This program is meant to burn away fat by creating muscle throughout your entire body.

How does it work.
Here is the 3 step Chalean Extreme process.
The Chalean Extreme is broken down into 3 phases to build muscle and burn fat.
Phase 1: Burn- You start with moderate training workouts which involve lifting weights to jump-start your metabolism and break down those "extra" reserves of fat. You'll work your upper body then lower body, and learn how "Lean Phasing" will help you see major results every 30 days!
Phase 2: Push - Chalene shows you how to lift heavy-beyond your comfort zone-so you build the muscle you need to burn fat. Chalene makes it easier than it sounds with incredibly fast results.
Phase 3: Lean - Here is where you really bring it home with new routines and dynamic moves that literally melt the fat off your body. You will be blown away with jaw-dropping results and rewarded with a brand-new body!
My Experience
I'll break down my experience of ChaLean Extreme
Phase 1 - Didn't help much to dismantel the thought that the program wasn't going to be for me, but the workout moves and routines were smooth and comfortable. The whole Lean Phasing part of phase one made me hesitant because I'm a guy and I want to build muscle not just get lean. I soon realized that the Lean Phasing is meant to create the mass of muscle that will burn up the fat quickly, especially heading into phase 2 and 3. Over all phase 1 was great but didn't blow me away.
Phase 2 - HOLY SMOKES. All the sudden this chick was kicking my butt with every new move. I really enjoyed phase 2 and started noticing a difference. I was both excited and nervous to reach phase three, but soon phase three came.
Phase 3 - This just topped off the whole exercise. Everything fit together so well and I really noticed a big difference by the end of the workout. Phase 1 and 2 you'll start noticing a small difference but by the end of phase 3 it is apparent.
What I didn't do was track and take pictures of my process. If I had done this I bet I would be even more blown away.
Now I am not an over weight person by any means, nor was I when I started the program, but I was still able to notice a difference by the end. If you are a person that needs to shed some extra pounds or a lot of pounds, this workout is a fat burning machine.

- I am all for in home workouts like Chalean Extreme. I heard that she was coming out with a new workout called Turbo Fire and i am looking forward to seeing if it rivals her other workouts.
