All about Chantel Marie

My interests are one of the many things that make me unique. One of the things that I am most interested in is reading. I have been reading books since I was three years old. I read my first chapter book at about 6 years old. I have always loved reading. My favorite authors are Laurell K. Hamilton and J.K. Rowling. The Harry Potter series was so interesting once I picked up the books I could hardly put them down. Laurell K. Hamilton has got to be my absolute favorite author though. She writes sci-fi/fantasy books. Her books include things like lycanthropes, vampires, and many other mythical creatures.

Watching Japanese anime is another of my favorite pastimes. I can't exactly recall when I started enjoying anime but I remember collecting pokemon cards when I was about 12 or so. My favorite anime series is Fruits Basket. I was introduced to this anime by my sister-in-law, Brittany. I find all Japanese things amazing and interesting so naturally watching anime wouldn't come to a suprise to anyone.

My newest interest is photography. I just recently bought my first DSLR camera, a Sony Alpha 200. Currently I only photograph my children, and a few family members. I hope to one day be able to photograph professionally. I have been working on learning to use my camera in the manual setting. It is a challenge but I am loving every minute of it. My sister, Courtney, and my sister-in-law, Morgan, are both very willing models to help me learn.

The internet is probably the hobby that takes up the most of my free time. What can I say? There are so many interesting things to do on the internet. There are unlimited possibilities open to you. I mainly use it to keep in contact with friends and family that I don't get to see very often on my myspace page. The most important thing that I feel that I have been doing on the internet lately is researching my family tree. It is a tough job but so rewarding when you finally get a breakthrough.

I love camping and riding 4-wheelers with my husband. This is what we do when we want to get away from everything. We take off for a weekend and just enjoy our time atv riding in Forest Hill, Louisiana.

The other things that I dabble a bit in are cross stitching, scrap booking, writing poetry, photo editing, creating myspace graphics, and cooking. I also love stars, the Cheshire cat, the colors green and orange, and animals.

I am an extremely giving person. I always do my best to help others. I put God first in everything I do in life. Whether things are good or bad, I always turn to God. I am one of the most caring people that I know. I care about others and about other people's opinions even when I probably shouldn't. I can be a very confusing person at times. I care about what people say in certain aspects of my life and in others I could really care less what people thought of me. I am my own person. I am very independent in my thoughts. I don't think there is anyone in the world who thinks quite like me.

My family means the world to me. They have been with me through a lot. My extended family, step family and in laws, are also very important to me. My younger sisters, Courntey, Brittany, and Morgan, (Brittany and Morgan are sister-in-laws)are my best friends. I trust them in all aspects of my life. My husband and my children make my life complete. They are the ones that are with me day in and day out. They may drive me crazy at times but I would be nothing without them.
